That first hammer was un-fucking-believable, and not a single skateboarder would even *consider* trying that, but for (old) Broskow, that was nothing. Now, all it's about it doing as many switchups on the shortest rail possible.

I love watching teck skaters, but doesn't have much of a 'wow factor' at all. The sport just doesn't have as many heavy hitters as it used to.

Dude, everything is easier on skates. They're strapped to your damn feet! Try a 360 flip over that gap and come talk to me about skill. I think inline skating gets so much crap because it isn't all that technical or hard once you get to a certain point. The skill level needed to be awesome at inline skating is much much lower than that of skateboarding.

Go 360 flip that gap? Right after you strap on some blades and just jump that gap.

If a skateboarder just ollied that gap, it would have been a huge deal. Throw in a 360 flip and it probably would have been skateboarding history.

Rollerblading is easier, maybe. But that's easily made up for by the huge tricks that are done. Skateboarding's idea of huge is a step below what rollerblader's see as huge.

Who cares if someone thinks skateboarding is better. Thats their thing. I blade, so of course I think it's better. But I'm not going to sit here and argue with someone over which one I think is cooler, or harder, or better. To me, someone that argues over which is better than the other is treating it as a fad. The fact that skates are attached to ur feet doesnt necessarily make it easier, but makes it more precise. In skateboarding, there's a much larger margin of error, making it difficult to land even basic tricks 3 or 4 times in a row. Thats what throws in the frustration factor of boarding, the reason why I no longer keep up with it today. I've done both and have been decent at skateboarding in the past (kickflips shove-its a couple grinds on low rails) so believe me when I say rollings not easier

If you watch the videos of Alex with the baggy pants they usually end up like in the middle of his knees which shows you that it's probably a little hard to move you legs in, like if you've ever worn pants around you legs you almost waddle lol. But watch the video with the baggy pants then with tight pants that don't end up at his knees. Neither seem to have a large affect but tighter pants help a small bit.

Also he probabbly, like a lot of skaters, switched to tight pants NOT because someone made him but because baggy pants restrict the movement of your legs a bit so it only makes sense to get smaller pants. Someone might comment back and say "no it doesn't".
