  • I discovered this in 1998 and it is still one of my all time favorites. Shame they did not release this as a 45.

  • Greatest band of all time? Yeah, I'd say so.

  • Tpipen..haha God told us about you people...the short fused, angered for some reason...humble yourself son, its Koo if you don't believe ...as long as you have moral values...but you will soon know truth..

  • pure joy, pure fantasy. it's a magical trip. the floyd don't make music, they allow the gods to send music through them from the sublime down to the mundane. btw check out /watch?v=K29CDmKebeQ it's rain in the country which is also great, but the image used on the video is regal in it's beauty.

  • @Ballerinakexar around 3:20 into the song, you start to hear kooky lame throaty sounds (100% certain it's Waters). Fun and campy for early Floyd, but not for this song.

  • @Ballerinakexar na listen to the first couple seconds, he does say it lol

  • sounds like a precursor to their later stuff

  • @callumrocker1 - It's and the pink queen sat and smiled at the cat who smiled back. Roger Waters can get twisted, but he ain't that twisted for chrissakes!

@tpipen22 - hope that's a joke. take your jesus juice somewhere else buddy.

@ Everyone else - Floyd rules!

  • Love it! Pure Pink Floyd.

  • @tpipen22 ^^^^ Fuck this kid...we dont wanna hear that jesus crap...i dont come shouting my athiest views towards you whenever i feel like it...i just sit quietly so i suggest you do the same asshole

  • @InHotPursuit23 umad bro?

  • @tpipen22 I saw the negative replies in response to your post and wanted to encourage you and say thanks for standing up for what you believe. How sad that some hearts are so hard they will not consider the possibility that they could be wrong. Just remember John 15:18.

  • @Ballerinakexar Sounds like it lmao

  • Ok. Roger fucks up the song with his voice.

  • At the start did he really say 'He shat on the cat that shat'? cos thats messed up!

  • Wonderful song!!!!

  • Awesome!!

  • no words to describe.. the bookcase blowing up.. might say better than the wall movie

  • Very good editing. This is my favorite song. Thanks

  • sorry but that is another example of being wasteful with that exploding multi-million dollar home.Maybe they had termites ,dunno (lol).

  • Instant favorite.

  • its great when u guys post this stuff yrs ago this stuff was very hard to locate its great being able to expand our minds so easily to floyd's genius

  • we need more "chicka-boom" solos

  • I don't understand.... Has this song something to do with Alice in wonderland? :O

  • The beginning reminds me of Green Is The Colour. I love Pre Dark Side material. I love all of it, but especially this era

  • Weird..the version I have doesn't have the ending solo..or roger making noises

  • @green420jdubb That's because the "Zabriskie Point" soundtrack CD mixes out the beginning, and fades before Dave's solo.

  • By far one of the best Pink Floyd bootlegs. Sounds like the same musical style used a couple years later on Obscured by Clouds. Funny how much the chess lyrics are simular to "I See All Good People" by Yes which had not even come out yet.

  • blowing up scenes are only valuable in this film

  • bloody nice

  • I can't believe I've never heard this before. Thanks so much for posting!

  • can anyone HELP ME TO GET THE TABS FOR THE SOLO?????? PLS SEND ME A MAIL!!!!!

  • This just might be Floyd's best song!

  • sounds preatty good to me

  • I love this movie

  • Hmmm Im not sure id call this a country track...but I really loved it. I thought Id heard all the Floyd Rare tracks....thanks for giving me another one.

  • Yes I don't know why but really similar a bit... But I wouldn't believe that Gilmour wrote this influenced by Cry Baby Cry. :)

  • this song reminds me of "cry baby cry", and I'm pretty sure that song influenced this, anyone else think that?

  • @skateboarding118

Both songs were influnced by the Alice books by Lewis Carroll. Both Pink Floyd and the Beatles were huge Alice fans.

  • @skateboarding118 People have been writing music for so long now that we're at the point where it's impossible to write a song who's chords aren't similar to another song's chords. If you play, then you should understand. Do you know how many songs there are with the same chords as the beginning of the song "Breathe"? I could name you ten off the top of my head.

  • @BrokenChair88 Yes, I play guitar myself and I understand that how lots of songs use the same chords as many others. But that still doesn't change the fact that the lyrics and the overall tone of the song resembles that of "Cry Baby Cry".

  • such a brilliant, amazing and fascinating song. The lyrics are just amazing. It is so childlike, yet so deep and complex. Gimour's guitar riff is awesome. Too bad this is one of their most unknown songs. It is really brilliant.

  • One of the best Pink Floyd song. It makes you feel accept death.

  • What a beautiful song, they should release these rare songs

  • Many huge thanks for posting this one :)

  • I love the explosion scene!!! :D

  • Awesome! Thank you for the post :-)

    I appreciate it greatly!

There's nothing like Pink Floyd on a beautiful day!!!

  • help this is hw

can you guy find a metaphor in this music?

  • A LOT of Floyd songs mention "the breeze". This one is no exception.

  • Country?

  • Trexophone: it's the name of the song...

  • their taking our nags ace

  • They make damn good targets - let em have it!

  • Super!

  • marduk364, i agree

any sex at all would be ok with any kind of music, unless it was "And the wheels go round and round",...but other then that,...how about :Chitty Chitty,...Bang Bang,....

    lol

  • I love this song love the tune and the way its done so good i jus blast it out full volume mint quality and the sound effects cool sooooo Pink Floyd :D

  • and we care why?

  • no, roger waters wrote dogs.

  • If you're gonna try to disprove me, at least get your facts straight. If you want to get technical about it, Roger and David wrote "Dogs". Don't get yourself all excited, though. I'm still gonna go around saying Pink Floyd wrote "Dogs".

  • me too.

  • this is correct. after Sid he pretty much took over the writing. still David Gilmore wrote about 2 verses of dogs Dave didn't really start writing words until Roger was booted. but the songs Dave wrote are some of the best ones too. they were better together. David and Wright were the big part of the music. the stage Lighting and the theater side of things was Rogers doing.

  • INFO???

    WHEN WAS IT RECORDED?>

  • 12 December, 1969 in Rome.

  • love it!!!

  • Very nice. This is one of those Pink Floyd songs that deserves a wider audience.

  • @snifferdog oh well , this can be our little gem!

  • @snifferdog no, it's better this way

  • Roger makes disgusting soud effects...
