@marcussampson I would suggest you look online or in a book for some actual code. I will however explain loops- For loops are loops that loop for a set number of times, they typically look like this for(int i = 0; i < 5; i++) - in this an integer 'i' is created and the loop is set to loop until i increments to the value 5. -While loops are loops that only have a single condition e.g. while(i<10) - a while will loop until the condition is met. I hope that helps, sorry it took so long to reply. :)

hey bucky! thanks man for the updates.i would definitely visit those new videos you posted as soon as im done with java.i actually just started watching the intermediate programming in java and i have a question about going back to the first block of code.. like for example you ran the program ..the system is asking the user to input something however the user typeed it wrong.. what would be the code so that the system can go back and start the whole process of getting the info formthe user.

@marcussampson to account for the user typing it in wrong you can embed it within a loop (e.g. a do while loop) with conditions that won't be satisfied until you are sure that they entered it correctly(e.g. a boolean which is only true if the user entered it correctly and is otherwise false). I forgot to mention two things! Aptana Studio 3 has a stand alone version as well. But the biggest advantage is that it has auto completion and suggestions, just like Eclipse...if you use Eclipse, you know what I mean!

Shitty notepad has been putting 'The Unicode Byte-Order Mark (BOM) in UTF-8' providing me with irritating W3C Validator warnings, finally I realised it was shitty notepad adding the utf8 bitemarks!!!! Grrr.

I've got an idea for your tutorials. If you're planning to do lots of them you should consider sorting them. IMHO the best idea would be to make a separate short tutorial for downloading, running and using a text editor; and then simply link that tutorial as a prerequisites for XHTML tutorial (or any other tutorial using it) so you'll get some kind of tutorial-tree. This way you'll avoid teaching how to click in every tutorial on every programming language ;) Anyway - good job!
