ive slept through 14 tornadoes im really scared of storms and ive been less then 100 meters away from a f2 tornado (at school) and didnt know it becuase of the green sky my uncle works down the street where i go to school and ive never seen pne but ive been close enough to be hit by one and if i ever see one im probably ging to shit my pants o.o

I agree with you rmckenly. I was there in Stoneville when the 1998 F3 hit. When you are running from a school bus into a funeral home basement that is the scariest momennt in your life.

Yes! once you see one in real life you will never forget it. I think in some respect we all have some fear of tornadoes, even those who chase them for a living, probably on a higher level, so you are not alone!

Wow amazing, and RARE shots! Very strange to see tornadoes in the backgrounds of communities I'm familiar with... My aunt and uncle live in Wilson (my uncle actually OWNS Quality Tire). This hardly EVERRR happens in NC. Supercell thunderstorms are even rare here.

exactly. I'm scared of it now. I wanna know how many torndaoes happen in NJ and NY......XD. Man, if only our apartment wasnt so old.. And then reinvorced with concrete, extra wood, and steal. To help protect from tornadoes. I dont wanna live in an area that has a torndado every year! That crap scares me. The posotions they have us in at school when theres a tornado , looks like it doesnt do much.

I was in holly springs. Nasty clouds. us and fayetteville were the only ones to get nothing... it was scarey,,,

i looked online about tornados and there is new tornados its like a line that takes out everything some call it a horozontal tornado

yeah i was wondering, how often do you get tornado's in that part of North Carolina? When i was checking my GPS i notice there were a few last year, 2008 in the Wilson, Smithfield area

@rmckenly more like 3. cause the wind will knock u over, and the hail. me and my friend jj, were LESS than a mile cause we were walkin home and it touched down. TRUST ME u NEVER forget.

yeah we did have some terrible weather yesterday I got sum good pics of these storms yesterday...I was over in the calico area when three tornados slamed down in fields around our car but we were able to get out safely
