Tom - I was wrong...youwere right on the avaialbility. My nutritionist had offhandedly noted they were still selling...but when I looked around on teh internet I realized they aren't. If they had I could buy the. 1/2 price at the company store! Oh well. I'll give the others a try. Thanks!

The creamy bites were the best! I guess I'll try the new chews because I just can't stand the calcium tablets. Got choked on them a couple of weeks ago! Thanks for your review. I'm so glad these are out! I'll be interested in tasting the lemon once they're out, too! Contest ... did you say contest? :)

I have since received mine and tried them, and I totally agree with you, Tom, regarding the gritty texture. HOWEVER ... they're easier to take than tablets and at least they're the "right" kind of calcium, so I'll keep on taking them. Maybe they'll improve the texture for us eventually.

What type of vitamins do you take now?

I try to use Sam's Club brand or Vitamin Shoppe for most. The mega does A & D vitamins that I need to take I use vitalady com brand.

Mine are already in the mail - drats. But I'm less biased because don't have the history with the creamy bites, so maybe I won't mind them. Was planning just to keep them on hand for days I can't stomach the horse-pill chewables from Celebrate :) Thanks for the vid!

Citracal Creamy Bites are still being made by another manufacturer...I don't know where to tell you to ge tthem. I work for Bayer. (started last year). I wish we had the creamy bites! But I know they are still in distribution...somewhere.!

I think your wrong but would love for you to be right! This discussion has been going on for a long time online when they started to disappear. I have also personally spoke to all 3 companies - Mission, Bayer and Bariatric Advantage. Which is where the history I spoke about came from. If you get more concrete info please let us all know!

The new bites sound just like the Viactive I used to take. I can't stand them either. Thanks for the review. I won't waste my money on them. I will stick to the Citrical Petites.

Actually the texture of a Viactive is better IMO but it calcium carbonate. Vitalady com will be selling smaller sample packs of these and mixed packs once other flavors come out if you want to try some.
