Goddess Etro, so that's the connection. I wonder what time period this game happens. So many times are seen during XIII-2, yet so few. I swear every time I see Noctis, he looks older and the design of the characters, more realistic. Waited 6 years to buy a ps3, was trying to hold out for this game... broke down and bought one for XIII-2. The characters have changed since the first trailer, not sure if I am still excited for the game, but I will get it none the less.

I doubt that they would have completely neglected things like plot and charachters etc. before then, so maybe they have more done than people think they do. Besides, it's already being made for ps3 (unless sony filled them in on some ps4 info) so it will probably come out about a year before the ps3

Alright, lets break this thing down. First what is this game, a Fighting game or RPG. The name suggest Fighting but the trailer suggests RPG. Second, Why use FF13 name? Wouldn't be better just using a differernt name like FF15, they trying to acheave something like a remake of X-2? I can say why it's Versus XIII, but I still don't know how much if JRPGing and how much is crazy DMC style fighting.

Basically, Enix are doing another FF7 Compilation for XIII, but they games are not directly related. And its not called a Compilation, its the Fabula Nova Crystallis. They(XIII, XIII-2, Versus and Agito/ Type-0) are all set in different universes, the linking feature being the Goddess Etro and Crystals. Obviously, XIII and XIII-2 are directly related.

It's getting more hyped than possibly any game that has ever existed...

Because of that once they finally start showing/revealing what the story is gonna be like, the voices of the characters both English and Japanese, as well as some of the places you'll go to. Even if they are up to standard I fear people may start hating this game SOLELY because of 6 years of hype.

This might be THE Final Fantasy game we were all waiting for.

The gameplay just seems AMAZING, the Kingdom Hearts Battle Style  was what the series needed, after watching Final Fantasy VII Advent to children there was no Phase Battle System that could satiate my thirst of hitting countless times in air with a bad-ass sword; The graphics are just STUNNING; The music perfectly EPIC (so far); and lets hope the story to be the most marvelous to come.

Please SquareEnix make this a game to remember

the date hasn't been set yet, however their should be more info on final fantasy vs 13 after ff13-2 comes out. from what i've read the game is still in development for the date they orginally planned, which was to be out before ff 13-2 however ff 13-2 was finished quicker than expected.
