Ive seen this a hundred times and yet each time I watch I pick up some nuance in her voice or hand gesture I didn't notice. Truly captivating and haunting. Leaves me speechless and with a lump in my throat every time. Thanks for sharing, this is timeless and classic, Stevie at her best.
This is so lame, but I was so ridiculously excited to see that Stevie was her wearing her hair up! Lol. She never puts it up...it looks gorgeous! Well, then again, it's gorgeous any way, but you get what I'm saying. I'm such a lame fan...I get excited over the stupidest things.
No one could or would ever sing this well again. It's unfortunately the recording was not the best. Hopefully the event was recorded professionally by the Melborne symphony orchestra. Eight minutes of this is like reading a classical allegory from the days of Homer of ancient Greeks.
There really needs to be a "LOVE" button for this......This is even better than her version on the Live At Red Rocks DVD from the 80's!!!! Thanks for this....BEAUTY!!!
I never cry... EVER but oh my god that was the most beautiful performance of Stevies or anybody's that I have EVER seen and I am in legit tears right now!
This is the first time I've seen this performance and it's simply stunning. It's not often you see stevie with her hair up nowadays. She looks absolutely amazing.
I've posted this before, but I must repeat myself...THIS is the greatest singular performance of Stevie's entire career. I have HUNDREDS of live concerts from every tour (Mac and Solo). No other Stevie performance comes close to the talent displayed here. "Astounding" is an understatement but I can't think of a better word. It's a shame that this was professionally recorded but never commercially released. Only this screen-shot version has been circulated. A million thanks to the photographer.
This is just flat out one of the greatest things I've ever heard. When my girlfriend and I saw Fleetwood in concert, I can't count the times we just stared at each other with a look of awe in our eyes....
@traymatth I'm kind of glad she never had kids. I think I'd go insane with jealousy knowing there was someone out there whose mother was Stevie Nicks.
God this woman can sing.. I dont know where this Voice comes from ..its not of this world,,,it comes from the same place as a crash of thunder or the roar of a rushing waterfall...She is an Angel sent to Earth and there will never be another who could compare to the magick that is Stevie Nicks.
i've loved this song since the first time i heard it many years ago. hearing this version sent shivers down my spine. stevie is magnificent! what a legend...
this is about as beautiful as a song there is on the universe, not only can this women sing but it proves that she is truly a poet too.WOW gut wrenching!
This song always has me in tears and i don't know why, its very sad but somehow reminds me of stevie because she has led such a sad life not knowing the beauty of children. Though i know she loves them its sad that she didn't produce any and bring them up.
Was Stevie once (also) referred to as "Speedy" sometime in her early life? She could never pronounce her given name, Stephanie, as it came back sounding like the letters T-D.
I was there to witness this absolutely awesome show and she did look and sound so beautiful - as always... Rock on Stevie... Thank you for sharing your gorgeous Gold Dust tour with Melbourne, Australia.
@divgtrslingr We are all a bit self-centered when we are young. When we become old we are appreciative and grateful! If you listen to Stevie in her interviews, you will here her gracious and thankfulness for anyone who still listens to her songs. She loves her fans. Her fans are her life and have always been what has kept her going through her life.

OK, this is the only singer songwriter I would go out of my way to see. I did just that back in 1978. I assured I'd have a ticket. I ended up with 5.
