  • Need to stop smoking LOL

  • fuck i want to see how to removie old windows xp lool

  • Oh geez, all that to repair the broken glass??? Is there an easier way?

  • He "removed" it right. The only thing you didn't see was a drop cloth. Btw, the new windows that people are selling, both stops come out.

  • this guy is as red as a beetroot!!

  • "Window installation engineer"....awesome.

  • Thumbs Up if you thaught tht this is a tutorial how to delete old windows XP

  • Great view of his back.

  • So do I press control alt delete?

  • Thank you very much for sharing the video. It was nicely explained too.

  • I appreciate the video, but next time do a window thats not under partial shade.

  • This is not the correct method as Keywise has already mentioned. There is no need to hack or rip anything.

  • And Mark Amato in the Moen commercial is a pretty boy who's never done a day of work in his entire life. My those are white teeth he has! Veneers? I bet his fingernails are manicured. Better not ask him for advice. Ask someone who actually works for a living - like the window installer.

  • you are so rade in the face lol

  • You have to be kidding me. You are calling this guy an "engineer"? as an engineer that actually went through a 4 year ABET accredited university to EARN this title I am offended that any tom and jerry can just append this title to their name.

  • you caN rip from the outside actually it keeps the inside clean and u dont mess with the inside molding except for caulking that is the proper way so after 30 years bro you better learn a new tricks

  • Beware - every install is different so you may have to improvise.

  • a fein tool would make a nice clean cut on removing that outside stop. We love our fein multimaster and have one on each of our trucks. never go to a window install without one!

  • The way he did it is the fastest.if you use a fein it would take all day for one window

  • The old suitcase window. This guy doesn't seem like he would be comfortable on camera, but he isn't camera shy in the very least! I hope one dy to make window videos with him!

  • But the fein is a great tool

  • yep - terrible. no reason to pull the windows from the outside. might as well have just busted out all the glass with a sledgehammer and punched the homeowner in the face.

  • @papabanks lol hahahahaha thats great!

  • @papabanks ....haha... "punched the home-owner in the face?" Nice touch.

  • Terrible job. Don't work on anything pre 1960 please.

  • It's like watching the Flintstones.

  • lol, thx. but i was looking how to install "Windows" xD

  • Ive seen too many of expertvillage videos that are sooo wrong!!! More like EXPERT MORONS!!!!

  • WOW, this joker is a complete hack. This should be relabeled how not to do this...

  • LOL.... wrong! go from the inside....

  • Most people wind up capping the exterior so removing the outside stop is fine because the exterior trim is going to be capped anyway.

  • I completely agree with removing the inside stop instead of the outside. Usually the inside need to be finished out anyway, if you leave the outside alone it doesn't always have to be finished more. And yes the inside stop is DESIGNED to be removed, not the outside.

  • yea this was very helpfull cuss i did carpentry before ...well awile ago and neeeded to remember how to install the windows and measure them so i looked and i found your video....thnks!!

  • Dito on the removing windows form the inside. I install windows everyday. I worked for two companies and all the glaziers uninstall the same way, from the inside! Taking that blind stop off leaves a nasty mess that will take more paint then taking th trim off the inside unless you are going to wrap it with break metal!

  • That's crap...Remove the inside stop ONLY.

Install window from inside put against the blindstop....NO chopping. and you have to replace the inside stop anyway...

We have done windows for 30 years and never have we had to 'chop' the blindstop out.

    Very amateurish...

  • So, do you always have to take out at least one stop? It seemed like he was taking out the blindstop *instead of*, not in addition to, the inside stop.

  • The blindstop is not designed to be removed where the inside stop is. The wood windows were designed to be taken in and out from the inside not outside.

  • if you install windows do you want to give an english window fitter a job ? i would like to work in the states for a while it would be fun

  • @keywise Keywise, can you think of any advantage of removing windows from the outside? Speed perhaps? Perhaps collateral damage minimization? Just trying to learn something here from both sides. Thanks.

  • @keywise Post a video please.. :)

  • @keywise I have had to chop plenty of nails out. been doing windows for 15 years.

  • oh my god i cant believe you do this on youtube. pull the brick mold and save the stop. oh i know your saving 15 minutes on istallation.
