Are you kidding? That has got to be the most incredible aircraft display ever! Only the Gripen and Rafale come close. What a pilot - unbelievably smooth. Well done Germany - it is after all a German designed plane depite the name.
Norway need multirole systems. The Eurofighter is an agile FIGHTER. The Gripen or the JSF are the only real options. If they choose Gripen they have easy access to spareparts since Sweden is right next door.:-)

Yep, exactly. Delta configurations aren't only to be seen on a Draken. And the canard configuration (long coupled canards) of the Typhoon works on a completely different level.

why norway needs typhoon.norway needs a higly agile aircraft and the typhoon is the most agile of the three. JSF is to slow, and its a bomber, shal we bomb the enemy plan in mid air. i do not think so. gripen i produced by the swedish, and they are a neutural nation, so if norway has to go to war, sweden vil not give parts and support for the norwegian gripen so they, and its not as agile as the eurofighter. eurofighter has the best peformance
Joint Strike Fighter has vertical takeoff and landing. Therefore i think, it will be a smarter/better choice for Norway. Then you can hide in/at the mountains(fjords)(cave/bunker) no runways. Like the Harrier. And stay protected. "No need" for a runway. But i am not an expert.

The JSF is still in devlopment, and it looks like it will have huge cost overruns, just as the F22 - The JSF is planned to be ready around 2013 - but this date can easily move back alot. And the socalled stealth of the JSF will cost a fortune to maintain....

This air display was also ment to be the best part of the show, but sorry. It was not. Better luck nest time. ;-) I hope Norway is going for Joint Strike Fighter. Better suited for Norwegian terrain. Moutains and fjords.
It's hard to find good Eurofighter clips. Most are too short, bad quality, silly music, too many cuts, or just the few official ones.
So in fact this clip is my favorite Eurofighter clip so far, because it allows some comparison to other 4th+ generation fighter aircraft. (look for my "video responses").

Kjellern150, nice clip, surprised you don't like the plane yourself but you got to admit even when the Typhoon flies (lazy) it still runs rings around everything else; your own clips in comparison show this well.

Actually, the version of JSF that Norway is concidering is the version without vertical takeoff and landing engine.
