@osdeus777 I practice kwan yin do under sifu dave cial, it's a mix of choy li fut, hung gar, shaolin long+short fist, as well as southern preying mantis and the tai chi I practice is yang style, chen man ching's as well as grandmaster feeman Ong's... internally I would say to do more qi qong internal qi qong like daoist meditation, healing sounds, and sensitivity, as well as external like iron thread, tiger set, and such to gain strength as well as sensitivity

The most important attribute of doing iron thread is propper breathing. if you are not propperly breathing in inhales and exhales along with certain exhale technigues with certain movments you could severly damage your body. Before your stances or techniques are right please make sure you are breathing properly. It is a hard thing to learn without a good well knowleged teacher.

Mr Ng is my uncle.He taught me the Iron wire Form .After practicing the iron wire form,the muscles are harder then before and the digestive,respiration and reproductive system are improving.
I had learnt this form about 10 months.A HK student learning the 4th lesson of this form now told that the digestive and reproductive system had been improved. It takes about 5-6 lessons to complete the whole form.
At least 10 years exercise of Iron wire Form ,your internal respiration ,digestive and reproductive system will be upgraded to stronger. The external muscles will become iron .If you are clever ,you can learn the form at 7-8 days.
10 years to see results?! So if i incorperated this into my training now for something in... lets say six months, it wouldn't make much of a difference within that small span of time?
hmm... I only have one criticism/question. The sounds that he's making, does it sound like it is done correctly? I'm not trying to disrespect him, I'm just asking. I was told that the sounds are used to work the chi flow in specific parts of the body according to the sound. If not done correctly, it would either do nothing practicing the form or cause harm. I hear some people sound slightly different from others but as long as it works then it should be fine right?
Sounds right to me. At some stage, you'll tailor the sounds to your body. Most of the variations you'll hear is from tonal differences. I am impressed with this video. Most Iron wire I've seen is done for show and missing the real energy flow. I think this is the only demo I've seen where it's the real deal....
I'm just surprised that there are some clips available on Tid Sin Kuen. I was always under the impression that it's a highly guarded set? I just hope there aren't some dishonourable people out there who'll learn the moves and then teach it at their McKwoon...the wrong way :(

Mr Ng got 35 years experience of iron wire form.The sound must be correct so as to make the best effect .
