hahaha yeah a 2! I learned the electric guitar by way of jazz, unlike most people these days who learn by rock. I learned how to read music before I could read tabs. Learning your blues and pentatonic scales helps alot with this solo too. haha

well, your technique could use a little work, but you have the feel of the solo down. you tend to bend a lot with your index finger, but try bending more with your ring finger and pushing up with your middle finger to ease into the other notes more smoothly.

It took me forever. I used tabs for a reference and then listened to the faster parts to fine tune it. Like the 2nd part after the sixtuplets is verrrrrrry tricky. it was hard to learn.

yeah, you should try powertab software. its hard to get used to, but once you understand it, its soooo helpful. plus, when you print out the tablature, its all neat and organized with a tab AND the actual notes and rythms. good luck man. that solo is so fun once you get it down.
