On May/22/2010 for the first time I'm going to Universal Studio Florida, and Island of Adventure with a school field trip. the elevator is fake. it doesnt take you anywhere, it just gives the impression that you are. it vibrates or something and that's it.

@MapleBedas The elevator is not fake. The elevator is a cage that the actual compartment you sit in, securely locks into as it moves towards the drop. The is no simulation or no vibration, the ride does drop and rise like an elevator.

Same with me. They make it seem like you're not supposed to push it at all, but in fact you can when you reach that giant alien at the end that you go under. You get a ton of points if your car pushes the button first before your opponent's car. I love these shooter rides. More theme parks she have these types of rides. People love them!
