I love Denna, she is the perfect counterpoint for Kvothe. In my opinion she grounds Kvothe, making him a fallible, flailing teenager just like im sure we all were. Denna gives his character more depth than we could ever have seen if he shacked up with proto-Kvothe (Devi) or cracked-Kvothe (Auri)

I liked Fela, and I actually don't mind Denna. Quite a believable character considering human psychology. I really thought to myself at times however, that Kvothe should get it on with Devi. I don't know why but I always thought there was some resonance there that they could see eye to eye at times. And just enough difference between the two to make a relationship interesting.

I think Patrick knows how everyone feels about Denna, as Deoch told Kvothe when they were sat drinking: she is that way, and always will be.

Denna is supposed to be a character you're irritated with for all the right reasons.

@andsanp denna is not a whore, thats why she constantly changes her name and moves around alot. she gets all the freebies men give to court her, then jumps ship when they finally get grabby.

@cyberpsygen7 Actually it has never specified if Denna has sex with her many escorts or not, she actually jumps ship because they try to tie her down to them and she has a really huge fear of commiting emotionally to someone then being dumped.

@ydnab But, how so? I diont understand how he is so into her considering she is always with another man for financial gain. When he gets jealous of her Johns (or tricks) I just cant relate.
