The best vampire action RPG game ever created.

The only game I have played about 10 times from beginning to end.

I so love this game. I always return to it. It feels like coming home.

I recommend the 'unofficial patch'. It is still updated regularly.

It is incomprehensible that, in a time when vampire movies and books are highly successful, nobody is creating a high profile vampire action/RPG. The gaming industry seems asleep and is letting this opportunity pass by unanswered. What a waste.

@AndreaZ64 Alos, a great deal of massive mods are being released and in the works. A new version of the Clan Quest mod was released in February and The Final Nights is being released April 30th. youll find this game on most torrent sites just look for good ratings and even some comments, if youve never torrented youll need a program called utorrent wiki that first and last but not least u may need a compatibility mod so itll work on newer versions of windows like win 7 theres 1 that self installs all u need to do is download it an hit install ps. when youve done all this and the opaning scenes r blank just hit ur mouse a few times ul only miss the logos. gl

@henrikrandom pretty scary in some cases especially the HAUNTED hotel , it has quite alott of gore the story is interesting and you have control over your character too in quests you chose the actions you want to perform wich have dire consequences :D .

I only recently discovered this game. It's good. really, really good. :)

The perfect balance between adventure, rpg and action and it has a great atmosphere. Most quests can be solved in different ways and it really makes you want to try all the different clans with their unique style of gameplay.

Played as tremere and will probably do malkavian next. :)

@ohbugger54 Which OS do you use? Your comment gives me hope. Serious Sam works pretty smoothly on my comp when I turn all the graphics way down, so maybe I Can play this one yet via Steam. I just don't want to risk downloading it to find out I'm screwed. I know two people who downloaded Steam games and couldn't play them.

*nod* or some sort of virtual drive at least. It's a wicked game, particularly with all the patches out there, I had this game when it very first came out and it was buggy as hell...there was no history option and so on. As of now though it's been pretty well entirely fixed, it's amazing that a game where the story is essentially the same each time (with a few dialog differences) lends itself so well to replay. I've played this something like 10 times all the way through. So cool.

It's an actual commercial game from 2004 (it was released at the same time as Half-Life 2 and it's using the same engine). One of the best games of all time if you ask me.

There was no real prequel but there was an earlier game based on the same license. The title was "Vampire - The Masquerade: Redemption". It's gameplay was more like Dungeon Siege but very story driven. Finest dialogue I ever heard in a video game.

only clothes, but you can't customize it, every clan has 4 unique clothes.

Mostly they are just armor type, for example. Heavy CLothing is better than Light Clothing, but is not as good as Heavy Leather or Body Armor. (Both, HEavy Leather and Body Armor use the same "mesh" and texture.
