  • ferget jordan dis my favorite playa

  • Its a shame he wud av being 1 of da world greatest basketball players mind u he turnd his life around I wudnt wish drugs on my worst enemies wen u on drugs like dat u nt knw fam or anybody u stuck in da gutter.

  • I have heard of guys grabbing change off the top of the backboard. It is very possible. I would have loved to watch old games of him in the NBA.

  • What a lucky motherfucker, I would die for his talent and the first thing he do with it is waste it on being a drug addict. I would litterly put my life on the line to have the talent he had, I love basketball it's the best fucking fun thing in the world.

  • @ballaof2010 So would many of us, it just didn't help him the people he looked up for and looked oiut for him, led him to his basketball demise.

  • of all the NBA players who think they know so much about harlem's rucker park and all the best players that played ther not one of them mentioned players that didnt make the NBA

  • Is he a real player, or is he a made up legend...if he' s a real player why the hell he aint make the nba... and for someone who smoke he's really good.

  • he's a real player..he diddnt make the nba cause too many off court problems

  • yup he is real... try to find the slam magazine 50 greatest dunker... he was included there... he is good but he doesnt have the competetive level as jordan has... because when his coach died he never play as good as he was...

  • How do you know he didnt have the competitive level of Mike, Mike wasnt the only basketball player that loved the game. Alot of guys have a very high competitive level, they just play on teams that suck. GOAT always played good even when Mr. Rucker died, that wasnt his coach by the way

  • he got hooked on drugs and got locked up for some robberies

  • he's a street player, he's real

  • welcome to harlem, mother fucker

  • haha i love that part

  • welcome to harlem mother fucker i love that part!!!

  • you get the fuck out of here, his vertical was 50 inches,he jumped over a 78 inch bar and that is on youtube. He played well against Jabbar,Walt Bellamy,Nate Thurmond,Bob Lanier,Bill Russell,He played against the greatest centers ever.He would average 30 and 20 now,who is going to stop him? That man was a track star and a high-jump champion, his broad jump was 22ft,his shot-put was 53 ft,Wilt was superman, the competition ain't any better, the mid range game is lost, the best ballers are retired

  • That video is on youtube, type Wilt Chamberlain.Wilt did have a 50 inch vertical,Wilt was stronger.Wilt could dunk from the free throw.Wilt was a track star and a high jump champion he competed in the shot put and threw it over 50 ft,Wilt was 270 of upper body, and he later went up to 300,Wilt was nothing but muscle,Wilt with his long arms would shut Howard down.Wilt scored 100 against 6'10 Darry Imhoff.I see Howard playing against short guys where are his huge scoring numbers.

  • no nba player has had a 50inch vertical thats absolutley nuts dwight howard cant even touch the top of the backboard thats 13 feet his standing reach is about 5 inch of the 10ft rim so he cant even jump 41 let alone 50 hes arond 36 inch and wilt wouldnt be close either but both are freak athletes

  • Wilt's reach is even more incredible,Wilt could jump 2 inches off the ground and dunk the ball. According to Larry Brown and others Wilt could jump up to the top of the back board in his younger days. Alot of basketball wasnt televised back then, they mainly taped the all star games and finals games, for some strange reason regular season games were ignored. The league put in rules tos top Wilt.

  • yea could you fiund and show me that clip that would be awesome. yea wilt was a freak athlete he was a great track and field athlete but i dont beleive that he could touch the top of the backboard nor dwight could i have seen people do it but dwight howards hops are hyped up soo much people think he can do anything but at the nba draft combine he wasnt extraordinary in his vertical leap but hes still a fantastic athlete

  • Dwight touched 12'6

  • that still aint 13ft hes got really long arms but that extra 6inches for an top performing athlete during his athletic prime is a lot

  • its very close

  • Stop being ignorant that video is on youtube you just didnt want to look, educate yourself. You obviously dont have a clue, guys used to use ankle weights,push-ups is strength training, and its arguably better than weights. They did have agility training, explain Wilt being able to dunk from the line,or having a 22ft broad jump, look that one up because you obviously have no idea what that means, you at his track records

  • Don't sweat it bro! These people have no clue! Wilt was and still is the best center to ever play the game. When Wilt was in his mid 30's I personally watched him shut a young Jabbar down defensively in the playoffs..

  • type in k-blaze wilt chmaberlain

look at the 2:04 mark, and watch him get ready to jump over a 78 inch bar doing a flying split

  • I do not know where you get your information from because Wilt was not putting up points on 6'7" white guys. He played against the best, the league was not diluted. Wilt must have been way ahead of his time because he was weight training back then as well and was the strongest man in the N.B.A.

  • I seen him play and Wilt was the best that ever played! You show me a player that scored 100 in a game or one that averaged 50 a game for the entire season! Let me know, then I will give that player his props. Wilt was SUPERMAN because he was the strongest player in the league! He could out rebound todays centers in his sleep! Nuff said.

  • Phil10k - There were plenty of centers 6'10" and 6'11" and the league was not one of a watered down talent! There were very few teams in Wilt's early years in the N.B.A. and only the best played against the best. He dominated!

  • How many 7 footers are there now?It was more than 4 especially in the later part of his career.Wilt,Jabbar,Elmore Smith,Tom Boerwinkle,Bob Christian. You had 6'11 centers, guys who are the same height as Tim Duncan like Bob Lanier,Walt Bellamy,Nate Thurmond, you always had big men.

  • this nigga was a dog at b-ball

  • I've watched the movie and it's great,it proves that you need to built up a character and to have a lot of luck to make it to the top!Not just talent and work you need to have God by your side!

  • amazing

  • wellcome to the big league schoolboy

    wellcome to harlem...MOTHAFUCKAAA

  • was that KG playing wilt?

  • yeah that was him

  • man the goat was only 6 foot 1 n u guys r comparing his vertical to guys that r almost 7 feet...so wtf of course the goats vertical was higher then all of them

  • Actually he was 6'2,just because you're shorter deosn't mean your vert is higher,Wilt was 7'1 and his vertical was over 50 inches

  • lol no it wasn't

  • Wilt's vertical was over 50 inches,new schoolers,have no clue

  • Wilt jumped over a 78 inch bar, trust me he was getting over 50 inches off of the ground, too bad alot of footage of him doesn't exist, watch Wilt on youtube jump over a 78 inch bar, incredible,no NBA player ever could do what Wilt did

  • wilt was an incredible athlete, could run 440 under 55 sec, and high jump over 7 ft, his strenght also amazing, one time bob lanier as a rookie pushed him, grabbed him by waist picked him up just usung arms, and lanier weighed 300lbs, they changed fre throw rules cause him, because he could jump behind free throw line, without running start just broad jump and dunk it, so they said cant leave lane untill ball touches rim, incredible athlete in his youth, only played hard if mad, destroy shaq

  • go on youtube and watch Wilt jump over a 78 inch bar if you doubt my statement

  • well the movies called, the legend of earl the goat manigault, not the legend of wilt the stilt chaimberlain....n its just tha fact that earl kan play like a big man at his height he was able to dunk over ppl a foot taller than him....

  • No shit sherlock, all I was saying was that Wilt had a serious vertical also

  • welcome to harlem motherfucker

  • "This boy can jump higher than giraffe pussy!"

That is a great quote right there.

  • You people act as if you seen the Goat jump. Your basing you opinion on some movie, and some street ball legend. You know how unreliable those stories are. All you have to do is search up a story on Ollie Taylor. He says that there were stories of him touching the top of the backboard, but admitted the closest he came was about eight inches. That story is much more reliable than the story of The Goat touching the top of the backboard.

  • shut up ur a hater

  • That story can be viewed just as reliable as the legend itself.

  • You have no clue what you're talking about,we're basing our opinion on the words of Kareem Abdul Jabbar whose words mean more that anybody on this site as far as basketball goes on the streets and the NBA

  • thers not a post 4 da movie?

  • Great movie and great Player!!!!!!

  • I love the charisma of the announcer. That's how it's done. MIchael Buffer hasn't got anything on this cat.

  • Earl the goat e esculacho!!

Muita foda esse filme o vi quando adolescente e me marcou bastante essa estoria sou um grande fa desse que foi um grande jogador e que na vida conseguiu dar a volta por cima. Goat Forever!!!

    Weelcome to Harlem MOTHERFUCKER!!!! UHAHAUHAUAHUAHA

  • Can Anybody Get The Entire Movie On Youtube , Or A link To Another Web-site That Shows The Entire Thing????

  • goat jumped higher than wilt hawk and dr j.

  • I don't know about that cause Wilt's vertical was over 50 inches also, I believe Hawk's was too in his prime of course before he had that knee surgery, word is that in the ABA the Hawk was so high in the air that one of the spectators said he must have jumped 8ft in the air, of course that's an exaggeration, but he must have really been up there for someone to say that

  • Go ahead and give me thumbs down, I'm still the greatest

  • Got to Ultimate Player - Connie Hawkins, and pause it at the 4:30 mark and watch Connie Hawkins fingers reach the same level as the top of the backboard over Jabbar, that's pretty high for a guy coming off of major knee surgery

  • Wilt jumped over a 78 inch bar

  • the goat could jump higher than mike

  • so could Wilt, Hawk, and the Dr.

  • kevin garnet as wilt chamberlian! lol

    Great movie
