@nefard Fascinating. Since I'm not American. Meanwhile, you admitted to watching Brokeback Mountain and seemed to only recognize the homosexual content of the film. Your grammar also sucks. So, regardless of where you are from, we can deduce that you're incredibly stupid, homophobic and likely in the closet and have no job or life as evidence by your taking the time to troll Youtube. Congrats.
@bushbumming29 I am 6'5'' and it's a decent fit. It's indestructible but I swapped mine out for another shelter as a bad MRI experience left me a tad claustrophobic.
Great review Shane. What's the weight on it? I could go and look it up but u know I'm lazy. Hope yens r doing good in the nw. Eureka has a good cammo print for their mil tents. It would be nice if they offered it at the same availability in their other styles.
would you recommend this tent if I intend to make solo hiking trip for 2 months? I mean, I'll stay outdoor 2 months, and probably there will be raining at least 15 days.
@mrmonkeyman50 Actually I was referring to the standard stakes that don't hold well in sand or loose soil. I will be getting some of the aluminum stakes that are built for such terrain.
Good size for a solo...What about material quality?,did I miss the price..??? and what NO COFFEE that would of been the end of me ;) Glad to see you in the great outdoors.. from downunder Farang :)
@faranglaw The material was awesome, very tough actually and surprised me with how well it held up under some serious stretching. Price was about $80 or so. Good to hear from you mate.
Thanks for video. I picked up one of the old models of this tent at a yard sale the Eureka Gossamer. It's all green and has the aluminium poles. As far as I know it is the same tent. The one I got was never used by the guy and the poles were still wrapped in plastic and the tent had never been unfolded. I got it for $10 bucks! Have not set it up yet. Now that I have seen your video I'll be using it on my first backpack trip instead of the other 2 man tent I have from Sierra Designs. Thanks
@1newbucketheadcover1 Yeah I believe they're fibreglass with some great shock cord. The plastic stakes I had on hand didn't come with it.
