Those who believe animals are ours to do with what we may are committing the classic fallacy of relative differences. The rights of a being to the life they were given by a superior energy force (God, Big Bang, etc) do not depend on what exists outside that life. Thus, the fact that humans exist and are superior in SOME ways does not give them the right to take away the life of another being. My right to life certainly doesn't depend on whether or not there exists superior life out there.

Yes, the risk is always worth that gain. No, we don't make the companies money because they need to build need buildings, install more security measures, replace animals etc... I would have to disagree on the companies making money over the attacks. I am pretty sure they still come out ahead financially through insurance. I personally am a vegetarian and practice some elements of veganism( I don't eat certain ingredients such as rennet in cheese and I only eat eggs that come from my own hand raised chickens as well as only drinking soy milk) I am against sport hunting and trapping, food hunting to me is different as there are some places in the world where it is justifiable due to limited resources and hunted food is a lot healthier than hormone infused store bought meat. This is just my view though
I'm going to say no, the ALF strongly believes in vegetarian and vegan diets and I would assume that the members who follow it also partake in those diets. And I'm going to also have to say it varies on who you're talking to. It has been scientifically noted that the shape of the teeth in a human being and their intestinal tract suggest we are not biologically made to eat and digest meat, as it rots while going through the large intestine.

The same goes for eggs from free ranged chickens. That should be enough protein for you.

Those who believe animals are ours to do with what we may are committing the classic fallacy of relative differences. The rights of a being to the life they were given by a superior energy force (God, Big Bang, etc) do not depend on what exists outside that life. Thus, the fact that humans exist and are superior in SOME ways does not give them the right to take away the life of another being. My right to life certainly doesn't depend on whether or not there exists superior life out there.

Yes, the risk is always worth that gain. You need to understand that every single break in, every lab that is torn apart or every slaughter house burnt down is a completely selfless act, it is 100 percent to liberate the animals and send a message. No, we don't make the companies money because they need to build need buildings, install more security measures, replace animals etc... I personally am a vegetarian and practice some elements of veganism( I don't eat certain ingredients such as rennet in cheese and I only eat eggs that come from my own hand raised chickens as well as only drinking soy milk) I am against sport hunting and trapping, food hunting to me is different as there are some places in the world where it is justifiable due to limited resources and hunted food is a lot healthier than hormone infused store bought meat. This is just my view though

I'm going to say no, the ALF strongly believes in vegetarian and vegan diets and I would assume that the members who follow it also partake in those diets. And I'm going to also have to say it varies on who you're talking to. It has been scientifically noted that the shape of the teeth in a human being and their intestinal tract suggest we are not biologically made to eat and digest meat, as it rots while going through the large intestine.

I myself drink regular cow milk every once in awhile from local farms. Although I believe humans should be vegetarians, I must point out that a human can not exist solely on being carnivorous but can exist solely on being a herbivore. I myself have had many health benefits from vegetarianism, I couldn't even believe it.

Fish can be replaced, or you can eat smaller fish that contain less mercury and reproduce quickly. For protein, dairy products from cows kept in a human manner and that are not fed hormones, antibiotics and pesticides is neither an issue of poison or factory farm cruelty. The same goes for eggs from free ranged chickens. That should be enough protein for you.

Some will end up living with humans as companions as it's either leaving them in a place of suffering, dumping them on the street or finding them a pernament home. I am a medical scientist student in Australia, the laws for control over animal studies here are VERY strict, and I imagine that they are similarly strict in US. Most of those animals do not suffer that much, if there is a lab doing bad stuff that can be dealt with more civilized. It is the old saying, you dont have to go down to the same level as theirs to stop it.

During WWII it would be illegal to save jews in countries, occupied by Germany. During Cold War it was illegal in USSR to say something against communism. But i see clear difference between killing animals for surviving and torturing them for dumb causes. I said it is terrible to kill animals for household and cosmetic products because it's a fact big companies of those products kill and torture animals in that purpose and i don't think that is normal or should be legal because there are other ways since there are many companies making products non tested on animals.

I'm only for animal research for advancing the human race and making it safer for all of us, because in my opinion, I think a species would put its own survival above others. But I'm with you on the whole "dumb causes", because that is the epitome of the human race abusing other species which are weaker than us for pure pleasure. Food and medicine are essential, but a fur coat (at least with wool the sheep still get to live!)? seriously? Unless you're Eskimo, no exception

Besides they do animal testing because it's cheap. They could test on cells but they don't want to spend i tiny bit more to save millions of lives and get more accurate results.

actually it's a lot MORE expensive. you kind of people probably have no money, therefore overestimate it. If they spend all that money on cells then they won't have enough to maintain the facility.
