To the guys wishing they were kids in the 90's, you are right, hearing these albums when first released really was something else. I remember when RATM released Evil Empire, when Deftones released Around the Fur, when Slipknot released their First album, etc..... Hell, I even remember when Weezer released the Blue Album. Lots of garbage was around in the 90's also, but even that stuff is better than most shit that is out now-a-days. I still would have liked to have grown up in the 70's though.

For every great one, there are 50 shitty ones, but years later the great ones are all you still hear about, so it's assumed it must have been a great musical time. There are plenty C.D.'s I bought that I regret, but discovered some great albums too. Porcupine Tree is an awesome band, so is my band Clock the Curious, lol.

Slipknot and System of a down came a bit later ....Rage against the machine and Manson put awesome concerts on and Deftones particularly after my own summer and before that this song had the biggest mosh pits i've ever seen Im glad the younger generation still loves rocking the fuck out and enjoying themselves that's what's it's all about and life really is short.
