oh, I just meant reduce your strumming... leave some gaps in your strumming of the guitar rhythm. maintain the rhythm in your head instead of using your guitar as a metronome. then your strumming will be a lot more effective and you can emphasize certain parts. let your vocals carry the rhythm more. this is just my opinion, of course. everyone has different ideas of how it should be done. I thought yours was good, maybe I can get a cam and show you what I mean, soon. keep on rockin!
