@kgsoloman6000 He's got technique, I'll give him that, but to say that he has better technique then someone like Yngwie Malmsteen or Rusty Cooley is a bit ridiculous. There's really no basis of composition here, not even a progressive nature to what he's doing. I'm a guitar player, and I know it's pretty easy to just play the guitar, but to write a song that has the slightest appeal or has any original factors is incredibly difficult. There's nothing here that is truly remarkable.

seeing how fast you can hit notes isnt good guitar playing. its just a skill. i like slower solos that you can actually understand whats going on. fast stuff is ok, but only in small doses. this dude is far from the best. he's good though, he just needs to play actual riffs rather than solos

well slower stuff takes more skill in my opinion because you have to be more accurate, if u make a bunch of mistakes in a fast solo then they are harder to detect, and playing fast is awsome but its better when its mixed in with melodic riffs and slow bends!

From listening to this I would say your way off base. doing nothing more than speed solo's doen not make you the best to come along. Why is it people think that if your fast and repetitive your great? Not trying to offened anyone here but all this was was a 2 minute solo that was actually boring in my opinion. There are about 15 thousand guitar players on here from 6 to 90, this is not one of the best.

Well, there are all kinds of drills you can do. (13,24,56, etc) ( 123,234,345,456, etc)

Too many to list on a short message. Any teacher can show you, or you can even make some up. OR, rent a Paul Gilbert vid and see his lessons on speed.
