Absolutely sickening what happened to 101.1. If I want news there are plenty of stations to listen to. Why take out the only Alternative Rock station in Chicago just to add more news to the airwaves. Sadly, I hope they fail. Streaming is great and all, but it's not the same without the personalities behind each show.

i never realized how much i missed q101,it was a huge part of my day at work..i still feel like theres a big void in my life,the station was my anti-depressant (no joke! )no matter how bad my day was at work q101 always had me upbeat,and its all been taken away..boy id give anything to bring it all back to how it was..hopefully somebody with $ comes in and brings back the crew & music and restores the magic that made q101 what it was,,so many sad folks out there.. it has to come back,has to!

i didnt find out until i turned the dial to 101.1 and outkast was playing i knew something was wrong. I am so angry!! Though by the end of its run they played the same stuff over and over. They need to bring it back and do a better q101. Right now im listening to 93xrt and who knows how long that will last. Q101 got taken over by yet another "mix" or "adult contemporary" station. Like we need more, geez!!

I miss Q101. A lot. I get mad whenever I turn the radio on.. Who knew that a silly radio frequency would have such a big affect on me.. I feel lonely... Honestly, I freaking miss you guys like crazy. ESPECIALLY you guys, cause you I listened to you two EVERY morning getting ready for school, and on the way there. You guys made my day RIGHT from the start. Radio without Q101... It sucks!

I want the old q101 back! I have no chili peppers to listen while I'm out driving, or at home listening to my radio. I was so sad to see my favorite radio station be torn up with crappy pop music. I want to actually be able to listen to wkqx without having to here lady gaga and listening to rise against or amberlin.

Maybe if Q101 would play MUSIC instead of non stop commercials, talking to indie bands and other bullshit then it wouldn't have been such a deadbeat station. By the end of its days, nothing except the same stuff had been played over and over, like Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Chevelle... Seriously the same shit over and over.
