Nothing wrong with dropping ska, it was a 90s California fad that was doomed to pass quickly, and they had the talent to be more versatile. "Just a Girl" was my first exposure to them, I thought it was like early Cars with Bettie Boop singing..catchy and brilliant but not ska.

Stefani could redeem herself as a pop singer yet, but she needs to watch old Blondie, Dusty, or Tina Turner videos for direction instead of whatever the hell it is she got into. And ditch the retarded Bush guy. Ugh!

Supposedly her success all went to her head and the band folded. She has an amazing voice. I was back stage at one of her shows in the 90s and she just sat in the corner the whole time doing her makeup but once she got on stage, she went HUGE with Charisma.
