Your matured response manifested good Christian character. If you acknowledged that there is a problem, why didnt you try to resolve it? But maybe it is not within your will. Well, cant say mega churches are right with God either. Look at those two - preaching a passport to heaven with a license to sin; pleases the masses. How others serve can adversely affect our faith. There are always political fights over leadership roles and such in churches. This could be a cause in your church.

this church has never grown since its inception for a decade. it has everything to do with the culture of the church, as set by the leaders. ask yourselves if you are doing the right thing for God.

@bummerfiesta Hi, thanks for comment! Yes, it's true that things are not rosy. Well, where could we find true perfection other than God? Psalm 101:6 "My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, That they may dwell with me; He who walks in a perfect way, He shall serve me." How others serve God, yes, it does affect us But let not it discourage us. God uses the meek and humble to accomplish his will. What's most important is how we respond to God as individuals.
