The battlefield ratios were always 8/10 to 1. The Tigers were heavy Slow and burned a lot of fuel. The T34's were fast and light and they did not need heavy armour (saved on fuel), because most shots just ricochetted away by the design of the armour. Today the T34 is know for having the most advanced armour design.

the t34 was a very, very effective overall design. the tiger was just a bigass chunk of steel.... not very well constructed. too slow, too heavy and no sloped armor.

This must be on a simplified difficulty level. The Gunner would have to do a distance estimation or use his coaxial to confirm the range, then he'd dial in that range on the recticle and elevate the guntube to match the targets elevation.
His rounds ought to have a tracer too, to follow their fall.

Once again this guy should really learn how to use the sight instead of taking random shots and wasting ammo. The tank at 5:29 is 500 or so meters away. Not trying to put this guy down, but it really helps to learn how to use the aiming system. It runs in my blood lol..I was taught how to do it.

I dont like the fact that the tiger driver can drive "open top" in this game. In the real Tiger 1 tanks the driver couldnt drive like that, even if it was a common thing to be able change seat level to drive with the head outside for better view. In the Tiger II the driver could drive like that though.
in real life A Tiger would only need oneshot.. a t-34 wouldn't be able to blow up a Tiger unless it got behind it.. The Tiger was one of the best Tanks of the war.. It had the highest fear factor..

MrTsotw, is entirely wrong. The Tiger was a major flaw as far as engineering goes! Everybody who worked and repaired them said they were absolute bitches of things to work with! Transporting them was the biggest problem caus' they had to remove the side guards and all the outer sets of four road wheels on each side simply to fit them on a train! They were also extremly prone to breakdowns. They were kind of like the Me 262 of Tanks, very aggresive in combat, bitterly unforgiving otherwise!
what you are saying is true, but the tiger tank is still one of the greatest tanks ever made. in combat, it was more lethal then any other tank during ww2.
@RTX300 Yes the Tiger had some complex engineering, but it was still valuable at war despite techical flaws. If you look at killing scores for the Tiger 1 it was mostly around 12-1, and by WWII tank standars that is pretty good. Even the King Tigers had pretty good killing scores, and if some tank was a bitch of engineering it was them!

@girlonwork well look at the angle of the front armor...does this look "better" than the one of the king tiger? i'd say they just wanted a heavy tank. the Panther and King Tiger already hat the the new design of the front armor which is way more effective than the old of the Tiger
@bluespartan1991 in my opinion the best tank in wwII was the Panther because this tank combined a good weapon with enough speed and a really well designed armor. in the last year of ww II it was the spine of the German forces.

@nesvaldo cara o T34 era bem melhor que o TIGER.. Na verdade a blindagem do tiger era mais grossa, mas não se compara ao T34, com blindagem em diagonal, o que desviava os projéteis, sem falar que na neve os t34 eram melhores tb...
Esse video é da primeira vez que joguei, o problem é que eu estava num morrro e a unica coisa que eu poderia fazer é ir pra trás, porem eu levaria tiro do mesmo jeito

@leandrobrap Opá,o TIGER de frente é imbatível, os russos sabiam disso, a blindagem do t-34 é diagonal forçando o projétil a desvalar e desviar, mas isso não ocorria com frequência em combates a menos de 600 metros...Um livro que recomento é o "um comandante de emtcha" escrito por um veterano russo, lá ele explica que de frente não dava... o estratégia para abater o TIGER era 2 t-34 para um tiger, um acertava a esteira... o TIGEr não parava na hora e acabava virando um pouco o lado e o 2º atira

@nesvaldo pois é o tiger com um canhão de 88mm era um predador de tanques, mas o T34 ainda era melhor, claro o de canhão 85mm... Os Alemães eram bons na arte da guerra, na minha opnião os melhores até hoje...

@leandrobrap e verdade, o T34 era melhor. desde quando é que é hábito um tanque medio como o T34 conseguir enfrentar um pesado como tiger e ter sucesso? tinha mais velocidade, a blindagem não era má para um tanque daquele peso, etc. na minha opinião, baseado no que li, o T34 deve ser considerado o melhor tanque da segunda guerra mundial, pois cumpria a sua função de tanque medio muito bem, melhor que muitos tanques pesados para a sua classe.

Once again this guy should really learn how to use the sight instead of taking random shots and wasting ammo. The tank at 5:29 is 500 or so meters away. Not trying to put this guy down, but it really helps to learn how to use the aiming system. It runs in my blood lol..I was taught how to do it.

That AT gun at 4:03 is a little more than 600 meters away...set the sight to 600m...aim a little above the bottom of the target and fire.

I dont like the fact that the tiger driver can drive "open top" in this game. In the real Tiger 1 tanks the driver couldnt drive like that, even if it was a common thing to be able change seat level to drive with the head outside for better view. In the Tiger II the driver could drive like that though.

in real life A Tiger would only need oneshot.. a t-34 wouldn't be able to blow up a Tiger unless it got behind it.. The Tiger was one of the best Tanks of the war.. It had the highest fear factor..

MrTsotw, is entirely wrong. The Tiger was a major flaw as far as engineering goes! Everybody who worked and repaired them said they were absolute bitches of things to work with! Transporting them was the biggest problem caus' they had to remove the side guards and all the outer sets of four road wheels on each side simply to fit them on a train! They were also extremly prone to breakdowns. They were kind of like the Me 262 of Tanks, very aggresive in combat, bitterly unforgiving otherwise!

what you are saying is true, but the tiger tank is still one of the greatest tanks ever made. in combat, it was more lethal then any other tank during ww2.

@RTX300 Yes the Tiger had some complex engineering, but it was still valuable at war despite techical flaws. If you look at killing scores for the Tiger 1 it was mostly around 12-1, and by WWII tank standars that is pretty good. Even the King Tigers had pretty good killing scores, and if some tank was a bitch of engineering it was them!

@MrTsotw the tiger tank was the best tank of WWII until 1943. However the Germans decided that they needed a better and heaver tank so the King Tiger was deployed in 1944. This new heavy tank had the ability to destroy any tank of WWII in one shot

@bluespartan1991 Tiger II was also unreliable, as the drivetrain and engine couldn't handle the 70 tonne weight - most destroyed Tiger IIs were by their crews, after they broke down. The tank would frequently get stuck on muddy soil due to it's weight. Road network was only a rare solution, as most bridges were already destroyed. These, and the operating range of about 100km demanded difficult transportation to and from the battlefield. Tiger II is a great cannon platform, but not a good tank.

@bluespartan1991 there are 2 tanks competing for the best tank of ww2 title:Panzer V Panther and T-34.the Tiger wasnt realy tht good bc it was slow and unreliable. allso it has weaker front armor thatn the Panther bc Panther's got sloped armor. and it has a weaker AT round

@bluespartan1991 in this game, I recive 2 shoots from T34 model 43(76mm) and my cupola blows up... lame.
In Kursk some Tigers recive more than 150 hits from 76mm and still fighting. In fact, T34 isnt a real enemy for a Tiger, include the model 85. This game could be called: Tiger vs IS...

@girlonwork well look at the angle of the front armor...does this look "better" than the one of the king tiger? i'd say they just wanted a heavy tank. the Panther and King Tiger already hat the the new design of the front armor which is way more effective than the old of the Tiger

@bluespartan1991 in my opinion the best tank in wwII was the Panther because this tank combined a good weapon with enough speed and a really well designed armor. in the last year of ww II it was the spine of the German forces.
