I aint knwn u a week n the first day i met u i slapt ur ass cheek HA

  • what album is this off of?

    Beats is nutz!

  • Ooops never mind

  • Whats the sample tho????

  • To me, 9th never come with no bangers. No, he's not wack, but he's not off the chains, neither. His beats are JUST good enough for a head nod, but don't carry the song....

Dilla's joints make you stop whatever you doing.

    just my humble opinion.

  • One love ♥

  • one of the illest songs

  • U know what love is.

  • guy looks like Bill Murray

  • Really 9th No

  • 9th Wonder - horribly under rated..... : (

  • FUCK THOSE 3 PPL!!!

  • 9th for life!

  • 9th is number 1.. aint no mistake!

  • 9th wonder.... nuff said.

  • this beat is insane! best remix 9th ever did! How he flipped the sample is just crazy

  • I don't if this is better than the original but 9th was obviously inspired. This beat is fire....

  • @GODxSON8 - you are true.

  • Crazy ass beat.

  • ''one'' of the best 9th wonder remixs..jus my opinion..i love this!

  • the only remix of a dilla track thats better than the original. the exception that proves the rule

  • @MrStockford1 it's a quality remix, but it's nowhere near any of the versions Dilla put out. not that it's not hot, but Jay Dee was a god among men.

  • @eoinmm its just my opinion. you dont have to convince me, im from detroit and dilla has been my favorite producer since the pharcyde. the reason i put the exception that proves the rule was to not take anything away from dilla. i have just about anything hes ever done in my home collection

  • real shit.

  • There is a so big wall between an amateur remix and a professional one.

  • Comment removed

  • SV on some love shit , you know what love is

And to the bitches that love dick, and masturbate

    haha i love it

  • lol..i'm just sayin...i'm stuck on dilla's version...Jay invented the remix imo

  • This is nice..Throwing this in the Favorites pile..

  • betta than the original spoken from a true Dilla fan

  • @SoulSista213 you are crazy spoken from a true Dilla fan

  • @ghost4doom thats the truth cut 9th some slack he killed it

  • @SoulSista213 i give 9th his credit, but not on this one!

  • @ghost4doom WHAT!!!! this jam is the ish soulsista

  • @ghost4doom WHAT!!!! this jam is the ish i mean ghost

  • @17DM yah nothin could be that song is too classic

  • ray coniff's shirt is CRAZY white

  • @hiphopsupremedotcom whatta comment,

  • this intrsu' is fabulouuuus! better than original !

  • original beat is one of my fav but this mixes better with their flow.

Again good job mr 9th Wonder.

  • Just wow!

  • Something so uncomfortable about ANYbody, even 9th, re-creating a jay dee joint. Its kinda hot no doubt, but Almost feels disrespectful to like it.

  • @isaiahjt12

sv cosigned this....soooo....dont feel disrespect... its all dope hip hop

  • much better than the original!

  • i'm rather partial to the 9th remix; i feel the same about hieroglyphics-make your move (9th version over original).

  • this versioins better, the beat kinda goes with the lyrics and kinda goes with what sv is sayin

  • @9thwonder10 exactly my brother, its not a case of whos instrumental is better. Listen to the words, its not a love song. This mix just hits harder and flows better with sv here and on what this track is about.

  • Respond to this video... my all time favorite t 3 verse

  • love this version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • this remix is faakin tasty but not as tasty as a dounut...

  • youngsters real hiphop requires a open mind, beats are a expression of what producers are feeling at that time and place it's a beautiful thing i love it!!!!

  • i lke this versionnnn wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy betta

  • i prefer this version 9th killed it

  • Not a bad mash tho.. i usually dont like mashes but there are a few good ones on the tube... nice bro

  • this remix is dope

  • Hell Yeah!@toket420, def got this on the "mojo" playlist.. lol

  • the best remix of this track is definitly made by suff daddy...check out look of love suff daddy remix !!!

  • baby making music right here

  • @17DM pretty damn nice though.

  • Masterpiece!!!!!!

  • watch my videos

  • check out my video response its better then this shit

  • serious biznesss rite here....... ask sv its all bullshit

  • some head knod

  • 9th Wonder killed it__J88 look of love remix is also outstanding.

Hey, SV always talked about bitches, hoes, sex, in a toned-smooth kinda approach. (Climax- girl shit)

Way long before Little Brother, Kanye, Lil wayne, and newbie Drake

  • Rather Unique in the video response

  • omg

  • this is the sickest mix. someone got a version of this without the gay beginning with the vocals saying "the look of loveeee"

  • @dirtylilandy

    Thats the best part lol

  • the muthafucking man notes

  • I haven't heard this remix in years. Such good shit. Thanks for posting it!

    Peace.

  • I chopped up this sample and duplicated what 9th did and I gotta say this production was pretty incredible. I mean the crate didggin this man does is off the hook. I appreciate 9th's efforts on putting his on spin on a classic production my JDILLA

  • This beat is straight up sick, that's all I can say!!!

  • nice onee

  • NO!

  • 9th killed it, real hip hop not that ass shake that head nod feel me.

  • i think 9th killed the remix, the point of remix is not to copy the original but to put your own flavor on it while maintaining the essence of the original. like pete does with all his killer remixes.

  • This remix is no where as good as Dillas original mix.

  • its not supposed to be. just a fan of Slum tryin to put another flavor on it outta respect.

  • I was thinking the same thing.

It's good, but you can't improve perfection.

  • slum village always had the best production courtesy of the late great j dilla but rarely did they have the best lyrics there hardly top mcs are they lets be serious thats there flow and the content

  • I disagree to a certain extent, Elzhi is a ridiculous MC and 3 was pretty good Jay was the shit I cant gather myself to talk shit about him lyrical cuz im such a fan of the dude and Baatin was just crazy. . . . .too soon?!? Some songs werent really about the lyrical content more so the vibe you get from it, yah dig.

  • yea i feel you on that maybe i need to re-evaluate my comment i just didnt always like there lyrical content like them never really speaking about much else apart from bitches and hoes and bling bling but yea i get what you mean about the vibes and yea elzhi is dope but didnt join the group till late after baatin left because of suspected skitsophrenia and health problems

  • I totally agree with ya, roiafrican, I do enjoy the other works of SV as I detest commercial hip hop by and large. No doubt white corporate America is trying to deduce blacks with certain images they favor, but let's be real for a minute: folks need to stop selling their soul and take OWNERSHIP and RESPONSIBILITY for themselves and the stereotypes/messages they espouse. The blame game is lame, mane. A lot of these rappers have no problem being ignorant and uneducated w/ themselves.

  • That being said, we know that SV are and have always been real and thought provoking in their approach to Hip-Hop! That's why its underground, that's why real people like us feel it! Maybe they we're in a darker place vis-à-vis women and the whole ''love game''!?! We all get into that space after a bitter break up or after someone did us wrong after giving them a piece of our heart. I think that's what this record is about girl! What do you think 'SexyVickyPollard'?!

  • Alright, I can understand your distaste for the lyrical content! I don't like raps of that nature either!

I'm not down w women, black women especially being dishonored & reduced being that they're the primary focus in main stream rap culture. Its a technique used by white corporate America to deteriorate black individuals self-esteem & self-respect in order to have them adopt more degenerative behaviour's! Ergo, "ignant n*%$a's"!! That's why "MTV rap" is garbage and poison for everybody!

  • Hate the lyrics?! You must like cheesy 'rot your brain' rap lyrics like Lil Wayne's or something! This is real Hip Hop girl! Are you upset caus' they're saying that love is bullshit?! Real love does exist between couples but there is so much 'tainted' love out there! Real dudes, like SV, hate that shit; as do I!

  • oh, roiafricain and 5arge. Relax. Who said anything about being a Lil Wayne fan? Calm down, take a breath, read:

the 'bitch' calling, 'smacking ass cheeks' might as well sound like a Wayne/Drake/Kid Kudi/Kanye piece of shit line. TRUST that I know my hip hop, at almost 30 years old. Been down since day 1 but I hate hearing women get disrespected and treated as nothing more than tits and ass, & I'll always say so-- bearing context in mind.

That line is ignorant at best, straight goods.

  • Moreover, I don't expect you boys to understand. It's my opinion, I am entitled to wow (shocking, I know!) and I stand by it.

Women of color are the ones these black rappers debase in their songs/lyrics. We can show our disdain however we please.

That being said, my head still nods at the production: dope beat.

  • Hate the lame lyrics, but gotdamn, this beat is dope as hell.

  • you gotta be kidding me. vicky pollard you must be one of the many commercial bandwagon hoppers that like all the garabge shit on the radio. the lyrics are what makes this. not that the beat aint hot either. but all of SV's lyrics are deep with meaning.

  • My fav version of this track.

    All versions are dope though.

  • yo both of these traks r dope in there way both dilla & 9th have there own flavor that they provide for us now tie up ur laces & go to ur room

  • this is sick indeed! but nuthin touches tha original...

9th is a student of Dilla anyways....

    its phat!

  • i like more the original, but this is dope too.

  • dilla was way better than 9th... the original was way better.

  • ima have to disagree wit namkooc. I think that 9th wonder made this track way more amazing than the original.

  • its not the original but every time i listen i keep hearing new things and it is amazing

  • this is no were near as good as the original not even close

  • word

  • 9th wondra!! lol

  • i like this better! awesome beat...

  • i like original better

  • isnt that the same sample used for the second part of the bizness by de la soul

  • yes it is duranward

  • do u know who produced that? because that shit was nuts.

  • well i think the fact that it says 9th wonder remix has something to do with the fact that he produced it lol who produced it lol i wonder

  • im not talking about this track. im talking about the second beat that comes in on "the bizness" by de la soul

  • dilla

  • nice

  • just amazing. still love the instrumental

  • sampled from The Zombies, "The Look of Love"

  • u know, this proves 9th is a genius..

go check out the original by Ray Coniff and find the sample he chopped 4 this instrumental.

    SICK!!

  • -On3 of greatest instrumentals of all t3me.

  • the instrumental used to be up here, but they took it down... DAMN! but this some hot junk...

  • classic
