How interesting. Here she says she was going to a friend's house to complain, yet back in '02 she said that she was taking her son over to see a playmate at one of her friend's houses. Her report back in '02 sounds like she was enjoying the day, not feeling depressed and whiny.

Evan Grace was not brain dead. Besides the hypothermia cold water near drowning effect explained in the "Conclusion To Claim 2", there is further evidence found in news articles published in the Canadian Press. This evidence includes a published personal accounting of the car accident, written by Shelley Yates herself, in which she states that her son was not brain dead.
hey both experienced a cold water near drowning episode, in which hypothermia and the 'diver's reflex' staved off an immediate drowning death. This allowed for rescue and resuscitation. There are documented cases where people have been submerged in cold water for a few minutes to over 60 minutes, and have been revived to make a good recovery.
Although Shelley Yates was submerged for possibly over 10 minutes, and Evan Grace was submerged for possibly 20 minutes as explained in "Conclusion To Clam 1", neither of them drowned or died.
Shelley is a human being with all the foibles that entails. Despite what gossip people want to believe or not belie4ve, the fact remains that tens of thousands, if not millions of people joined in spirit to raise the vibration of human consciousness for one hour, and that is a fact. I don't know the nature of the beings communicating with Shelley, they certainly do APPEAR to be from the light. Of course many of the new age and spiritual traditions will teach that all spirit beings come from love and light (a big mistake).

I have to say I take offense to the idea that someone who suffers from depression is "nuts" and that being "off her meds for too long" has caused her to lose touch with reality. It simply doesn't work that way. If not taking her meds had any effect at all it would cause her to become withdrawn, not go on a public speaking tour. I think you're confusing depression with other mental illness

I agree with her on the subject of medication, to a certain degree. Though some people benefit from meds, the meds for depression do block certain abilities, like creativity. I found prozac to be really bad for that. I couldn't even draw or write when I was on it.
So in a way, you could say going off the prozac is what gave Shelly the ability to hear light beings, if you know what I mean.

Not that I have anything against James Randi. He actually does the world a favour by weeding out the fakes. I remember the thing with Peter Popoff too. I heard the story when he was exposed, I had forgotten the name by the time I saw him in the infomercial. The only problem is that every time one of these fakes is exposed people think all psychics are fake.

(cont)...Where I lived before, the roads were more busy, less street lights, more dogs, houses were further apart, more hills, and more trees (the trees would block the parents' views of their kids). So it was probably more difficult for the kids and the parents may not have felt comfortable.

Re lollies, I know what you mean. Last year I bought vampire eyeballs that were supposed to be strawberry. Tasted more like soap flavoured rubber balls. One time we had chocolates that were like chewing wax only without the flavour.
Hi heas. I'm great, except for this cold that won't let go. Hallowe'en has become kind of "hit and miss" here too. There were some areas of the city that had no one. A lot of people are afriad to take their kids out now, but I don't agree. There has never been one case of poisoned candy or anything bad that wasn't a prank being pulled by the kids themselves. And if they travel in groups with lights and adult supervision it's perfectly safe.
But it is fun to see the little ones all dressed up. One was dressed as a winged unicorn and seemed to be doing her best to take off. She was running so fast she tripped on the bottom step and fell flat on her face. It's a good thing the costume provided lots of padding. I saw her a little later running down the other side of the street with her sisters yelling for her to stop.

I can definitly see where some people are coming from. For instance, I had a two experiences in my life that to me transcends reason and logic. From these experiences, I feel I have become a bit more open (and maybe even a little crazy with my worldview :).
So if I didn't have these experiences, I may have been a hardcore skeptic not just with these 'light beings' but any and everything related to metaphysics.
I am not a "hardcore skeptic", I just don't believe every Tom Dick and Mary that comes along claiming to have knowledge of/from the great beyond. 99% of them are charlatans, con artists, looking for money or fame or both. The flashier they are, the less likely it is they are the real deal.
Within about 4 blocks of my home there are at least 5 places with "psycic" signs. The only one I would believe is hand written on a piece of cardboard and says "no charge".
I believe to some degree with Karma, but also I have to agree with the old saying 'you reap what you sow', 'what goes around comes around.' What is a struggle..is when you know..based on personal experience, that people are being HAD and whether to let them find out for themselves or allow the perp to get what they came for ... in this case a whole lot of attention and a few bucks on the side. The concept of Karma (and f-angel can correct me if I'm wrong) is that what you give out in life determines what you will receive. In other words, 'what goes around, comes around'.

I would consider the hardcore skeptics to be people like James Randi. The odd thing I actually like James, he helps me to find my personal truth (I stress personal since everyone is unique and different).

I share your view about the psychics (most of them anyways). I contacted a little over 10 psychic/mediums for readings. Most didn't impressed me and were flat out wrong; however, there were 3 that blew my mind away. They told me very personal, accurate, and specific information about me that I never told anyone.
Being skeptical is healthy. So is having an open mind. I seldom ever dismiss anything outright. Which is how I ended up here on youtube watching these videos when I had already decided I did not believe Shelly. I thought seeing and hearing her might shed new light.
Your right, and I find it's not clear cut. For instance, there appears to be different levels of skepticism around certain topics and this varies with each individual. For example, if I have didn't have some level of skepticism I would have gone all out, joined Shelley's team, and already made a huge donation. Me too. I've been asked a few times why I participated when I believe Shelly is a fraud. That's the answer. If I hadn't encountered other people here on youtube doing it for the same reason, I probably wouldn't have.
If a psychic can tell you specific things about yourself without asking a lot of questions first, then I would believe them.
I can't afford to waste the money right now, or I might go try some of them out. I am considering the one that says 'no charge' on her sign. Though it might just be a ploy to get people to come into her salon.
One other thing that stops me is, do I want to know what they have to say? Knowledge of the future can be very dangerous, especially if misinterpreted.

That's exactly what you have to do. I always figure if their really psychic, why do they need to ask? I've also been told not to wear any jewelry or distinctive clothing that would give them a clue.

I wanted to add versus cold readers or fakes (probably a majority of so-called "psychics") who suprisingly according to a study are still around 20 to 25% accurate at best due to asking a lot of questions or "fishing" for information from the customer or client.
Yea your right, that's why I was impressed with one reader. I was in another state and she didn't even hear my voice during the reading. And the personal information she shared with me wasn't public knowledge (even if she had video camera following me she wouldn't have known, so she couldn't have done prior investigation). Also even very close friends and family members didn't know.

Well, I guess I can't really call it a mistake since I knew what the response would be. So far I've been called an 'idiot' and a 'moron' and there was something about pseudo-intellectual comments.
There was a really great study done under laboratory conditions, that James won't address or even comment on. To eliminate any possibilities of "fishing" for information or fraud. They had cold readers try to give a reading to an unknown person over the phone. The person would remain absolutely quiet during the reading, not saying a single word...
Sure, it's found in the book 'The Afterlife Experiments' by Dr. Schwartz. It's towards the last part of the book. It's very unfortunate, I find a lot of people will only read the first part of the book and will have already made their minds about the authenticity of psychics/mediums/intuitives (and they won't even read about the very best experiments performed found toward the latter part of the book)...
Now James has attacked Dr. Schwartz and his work, but again never once did he address or comment upon Schwartz's experiment with the cold readers and psychics doing readings over the phone.
Admittedly, I haven't looked at the book yet, so I should reserve judgement until I do. But from what I've read about Dr. Schwartz, his credibility is questionable at best.

Evan Grace was not brain dead. Besides the hypothermia cold water near drowning effect explained in the "Conclusion To Claim 2", there is further evidence found in news articles published in the Canadian Press. This evidence includes a published personal accounting of the car accident, written by Shelley Yates herself, in which she states that her son was not brain dead.

hey both experienced a cold water near drowning episode, in which hypothermia and the 'diver's reflex' staved off an immediate drowning death. This allowed for rescue and resuscitation. There are documented cases where people have been submerged in cold water for a few minutes to over 60 minutes, and have been revived to make a good recovery.

I don't know the nature of the beings communicating with Shelley, they certainly do APPEAR to be from the light. Of course many of the new age and spiritual traditions will teach that all spirit beings come from love and light (a big mistake).

hey getsmart. Long time no see. I've been busy elsewhere and haven't been here for a long, long while.
I have to say I take offense to the idea that someone who suffers from depression is "nuts" and that being "off her meds for too long" has caused her to lose touch with reality. It simply doesn't work that way. If not taking her meds had any effect at all it would cause her to become withdrawn, not go on a public speaking tour. I think you're confusing depression with other mental illness

I agree with her on the subject of medication, to a certain degree. Though some people benefit from meds, the meds for depression do block certain abilities, like creativity. I found prozac to be really bad for that. I couldn't even draw or write when I was on it.
So in a way, you could say going off the prozac is what gave Shelly the ability to hear light beings, if you know what I mean.

wow I just randomly clicked this and listen and this happend to me only I had car fumes comming out my caddy i think and I almost passed out driving to work and instead of hitting the gaurd rail My caddy did what hers did but I had the sence to cut the weel and my can came back down so hard that the frount left speaker poped out, my car was fine and I drove with my window down. Crappy cadillac!!!!! this can happen

Not that I have anything against James Randi. He actually does the world a favour by weeding out the fakes. I remember the thing with Peter Popoff too. I heard the story when he was exposed, I had forgotten the name by the time I saw him in the infomercial. The only problem is that every time one of these fakes is exposed people think all psychics are fake.

(cont)...Where I lived before, the roads were more busy, less street lights, more dogs, houses were further apart, more hills, and more trees (the trees would block the parents' views of their kids). So it was probably more difficult for the kids and the parents may not have felt comfortable.

Re lollies, I know what you mean. Last year I bought vampire eyeballs that were supposed to be strawberry. Tasted more like soap flavoured rubber balls. One time we had chocolates that were like chewing wax only without the flavour.

Hi heas. I'm great, except for this cold that won't let go. Hallowe'en has become kind of "hit and miss" here too. There were some areas of the city that had no one. A lot of people are afriad to take their kids out now, but I don't agree. There has never been one case of poisoned candy or anything bad that wasn't a prank being pulled by the kids themselves. And if they travel in groups with lights and adult supervision it's perfectly safe.

But it is fun to see the little ones all dressed up. One was dressed as a winged unicorn and seemed to be doing her best to take off. She was running so fast she tripped on the bottom step and fell flat on her face. It's a good thing the costume provided lots of padding. I saw her a little later running down the other side of the street with her sisters yelling for her to stop.

I am not a "hardcore skeptic", I just don't believe every Tom Dick and Mary that comes along claiming to have knowledge of/from the great beyond. 99% of them are charlatans, con artists, looking for money or fame or both. The flashier they are, the less likely it is they are the real deal.
Within about 4 blocks of my home there are at least 5 places with "psycic" signs. The only one I would believe is hand written on a piece of cardboard and says "no charge".

I believe to some degree with Karma, but also I have to agree with the old saying 'you reap what you sow', 'what goes around comes around.' What is a struggle..is when you know..based on personal experience, that people are being HAD and whether to let them find out for themselves or allow the perp to get what they came for ... in this case a whole lot of attention and a few bucks on the side. Hi getsmart. Yep, I have heard of the "Golden Rule". A lot of what you read here could be considered an inside joke. Most of us have been talking to each other for awhile now.
You said you believe to some degree with Karma, but that you also believe 'you reap what you sow'. That's kind of the same thing, isn't it? The concept of Karma (and f-angel can correct me if I'm wrong) is that what you give out in life determines what you will receive. In other words, 'what goes around, comes around'.

I would consider the hardcore skeptics to be people like James Randi. The odd thing I actually like James, he helps me to find my personal truth (I stress personal since everyone is unique and different).

I share your view about the psychics (most of them anyways). I contacted a little over 10 psychic/mediums for readings. Most didn't impressed me and were flat out wrong; however, there were 3 that blew my mind away. They told me very personal, accurate, and specific information about me that I never told anyone.

Your right, and I find it's not clear cut. For instance, there appears to be different levels of skepticism around certain topics and this varies with each individual. For example, if I have didn't have some level of skepticism I would have gone all out, joined Shelley's team, and already made a huge donation. The main thing I did like about fire the grid, was people coming together and praying/meditating for peace on a global scale.

If a psychic can tell you specific things about yourself without asking a lot of questions first, then I would believe them.
I can't afford to waste the money right now, or I might go try some of them out. I am considering the one that says 'no charge' on her sign. Though it might just be a ploy to get people to come into her salon.
One other thing that stops me is, do I want to know what they have to say? Knowledge of the future can be very dangerous, especially if misinterpreted.

That's exactly what you have to do. I always figure if their really psychic, why do they need to ask? I've also been told not to wear any jewelry or distinctive clothing that would give them a clue.
And of course, you should never take it completly seriously. Like you said, even the real ones can't be right all the time. Not to mention the future is fluid, always changing.

I wanted to add versus cold readers or fakes (probably a majority of so-called "psychics") who suprisingly according to a study are still around 20 to 25% accurate at best due to asking a lot of questions or "fishing" for information from the customer or client.

Yea your right, that's why I was impressed with one reader. I was in another state and she didn't even hear my voice during the reading. And the personal information she shared with me wasn't public knowledge (even if she had video camera following me she wouldn't have known, so she couldn't have done prior investigation). There was a really great study done under laboratory conditions, that James won't address or even comment on. To eliminate any possibilities of "fishing" for information or fraud. They had cold readers try to give a reading to an unknown person over the phone. The person would remain absolutely quiet during the reading, not saying a single word...

Humans are destroying the Earth. And with a little effort we could save it. But most people it seems are so lazy they would rather just give up and die. Though I have to say "the reptiles are doing it" is the most creative excuse I have heard so far.

Bear feet, what a great idea! I should try that next time. When I say the weather was warm I mean it didn't snow like it usually does on hallowe'en. It was still a little cold on the feet.

Yeah, a lot of the kids here go around twice too. If I recognize them the second time I just give them less candy, unless it's late and I don't need to worry about running out.
There were not a lot of kids out this year. Some people I know didn't get any. A lot of people don't want their kids trick or treating now, which I think is sad.

That's really amazing. I live in the southern parts of the US and we might see snow a few days in winter out of the entire year. Perhaps since it's so rare here, it's one of the most beautiful things to see in this area.

I also don't believe in reptilians and won't until one walks up to me and introduces itself. So if you were "sent back here" to convince me, it was a waste of time.

fallenangel, I just saw your reply. I had to run right after I posted yesterday and haul the skeletons out of the closet (litteraly).
I overstocked the candy and chips. The day was so warm, we expected to be overrun with little monsters, but we had hardly any. Mostly big ones. One was older than me. Lucky for him I had too much and just wanted to get rid of it. Also I think he was a little confused, since he wished me a "happy new year".

Well, I tried, but I have a nasty cold right now, so it wasn't that much fun. I usually go all out for hallowe'en, but I only managed to get about half my decorations out and carve one pumpkin. I was too exhausted to even get into costume, and I was in bed before midnight.

Constavlos, global warming began with the industrial revolution more than a hundred years ago. What you are witnessing now is just the culmination of decades of pollution and environmental destruction. Try reading a little more about the subject. Once again, you need to try more sources.

Yeah that is definatly part of it (since the reptilians were the ones who introduced humnas to crude oil "I can give you the link if anybody wants"), but reptilians want the earth warmer because they're cold blooded, so if FTG is Fired again, then you can expect to see them coming up from their underground military bases.

Sometimes one will hover right in front of my face and I can't help wondering, are they trying to say something? They just started landing on me as I started talking about them. Wierd.

Well, the flies may be small, but they do outnumber us. If nothing else they could annoy us to death. I consider my house a no kill zone and most creatures are safe here, but I've come close to smacking a fly more than once today.
