@NightmaresinmyEye Rölli, Santa Claus and The Witch's Drum, Jade Warrior, Star Wreck and the Unknown Soldier all have official English subtitles in their DVD releases. In fact you can download the original Star Wreck film from the creators' website (the Imperial Edition DVD has all the extras and redone special-effects).
I should check out "Tentematon Sotilas" as I was told by many that it was a great war film. I'm not really familiar with Finland but I'm sure you did a great job making this video for your country =)
@mlogansalton Apparently at Wikipedia as well, the director is Norwegian, so are the actors. There isn't a single element of Finnish in this film except that the Sami people happen to live in the general northern territories of Finland, Sweden and Norway.
@mikaonmika I think that would have been pushing it. True, Moomins are a Finnish product but the anime and the related films are Dutch-Japanese co-productions and therefore are not Finnish films.
Pekka & Pätkä and Unknown Soldier were made in the 50s. The TV-Man and Insane Finland in the 60s. Santa Claus, Rölli and Kummeli were made in the 1990s. Restaurant Seagull, Star Wreck and Jade Warrior are all fairly recent (less than 10 years old)

@silverwindspirit I didn't personally like it. It's a good movie to watch if you're bored, but it's not really good.

I would place Pathfinder (1987) dir. Nils Gaup at No. 1.
It's not in this entire Top 10.

@mlogansalton That's a Norwegian film, you silly person.
HandeToon 1 year ago
@HandeToon
Pathfinder (1987) is described as Finnish (Radio Times Guide to Films, 2009), but as Norwegian at IMDb.

Can you tell us where to find rare Scandinavian films such as Adalen 31 (Sweden, 1969) and Drommeslottet (Norway, 1986) ?

@mlogansalton I don't watch Scandinavian films so much, so no.
