I don't know, because that's a good argument. You see, I absolutely love the addition of Amaterasu, and Arthur, also enjoyed Chris and Wesker. I'm exited for Nemesis, Frank West, and Phoenix Wright . I am also exited for Ghost Rider. So, I would have to say it all evens out. I am upset that Megaman or Venom was not included. I'm REALLY upset that they didn't put in Chuck Greene and Gambit. But, final verdict, I like the Capcom side more that the Marvel side because never got into comics.

It's because the good games on the PS3 and the 360 are too much for the Wii 's hardware to handle, Deadrising being a good example, they had to drastically lower the zombie count per area and they had to tone down the graphics to make it fit on the Wii. What I'm trying to say is the Wii's hardware is too outdated compared to it's competitors to make any really ambitious games without running into too many difficulties. Sad but true. =(
Capcom sees this as an advertising opportunity. They think that if you see the characters in MvC, then you might check out the character's own series and buy the next game. Megaman is a retro character so he only advertises for stuff you buy on eBay.
Basically, you won't get Megaman because Capcom doesn't give a shit about you and just wants your money

And I'm guessing that the reason why they didn't include Megaman was because they actually intend to release it.

@xabu9001 What about the Classic Controller? That was actually my choice of controller for Brawl.. probably because I never owned a Gamecube and its pretty much a mixture of the Dualshock and SNES controller, which I grew up with.
They haven't said this, but I am assuming there will be a "screen free" version of the WiiU controller that will basically be like a classic controller. This is really their only real option for 4 player games if it is really true that only one "New Controller" can be used per system.
@JcButay compare that to a gamecube controller: 7 buttons, a D pad, 2 ANALOG STICKS, which can tap AND tilt in any direction, a wii mote is VERY under equipped
@TeamUnholyTriforce Enjoy trying to do reverse aerials without a c stick :P or a dacus, or glidetoss.. Or if you wanna go older, try using those buttons to wavedash :P

so if the WiiU can't support gamecube games, will it be able to use gamecube controllers?
right now, we don't have another good controller for the SSB series that they said they are releasing, and without a good controller to go with it, i don't think I will get it,
I mean who wants to play SSB with a Wiimote? that thing only has like 3 buttons!

@xabu9001 What about the Classic Controller? That was actually my choice of controller for Brawl.. probably because I never owned a Gamecube and its pretty much a mixture of the Dualshock and SNES controller, which I grew up with.

They haven't said this, but I am assuming there will be a "screen free" version of the WiiU controller that will basically be like a classic controller. This is really their only real option for 4 player games if it is really true that only one "New Controller" can be used per system.

@JcButay compare that to a gamecube controller: 7 buttons, a D pad, 2 ANALOG STICKS, which can tap AND tilt in any direction, a wii mote is VERY under equipped

there are more buttons there than 3, and that isn't counting the analog sticks or d-pad(even though the d-pad is just taunt)
