You'll see the similarities in terms of the engine sound between BR class 20 and Malayan Railway class 22. In fact, Malayan Railway class 22 locos were made by English Electric in 1970s.

The BR class 20 engine sound is similar with Malayan Railway class 22 locos engine sound.
Malayan Railway class 22 locos were built by English Electric in early 70s. Now, only 1 remain active in service in Malaysia.

you cant beat class 20's for thrash, on preserved lines at least
