I played this game on PC and I thought everything was fine. Controls were fine to operate, the inventory was a breeze, though the only problem I had with the game were the quick time events, on pc, it's a bitch.

I bought RE5 game and Super Street Fighter 4 at Best Buy with my $50 Gift Card and still have $6.47 left for PC HDMI Wire,PS3 HDMI Wire,Resident 4 HD Remake,Soul Calibur 5,Tekken Tag Tournament 2,Ninja Gaiden 3 and Metal Gear Solid Rising.I think it was a wise choice for me to take Resident Evil 5 and Super Street Fighter 4 over ICO and Shadow of Colosseus HD Remake that was $39.99 because I saved one cent since the two games each cost $19.99 .The total of the two is $39.98 plus tax $ 3.55 !!!
I actually agree with everything Adam said. I personally LOVE Resident Evil, and enjoy this game. He said the same thing himself, that he DOES like the game, and that it's fun. I just happen to also agree that it has shit controls (out dated), and the AI for Sheva is frustratingly bad. Story is shit, and feels too much like an action game. This is Resident Evil. Where is the Survivor/Horror feel it's supposed to have? Gone. All to satisfy all the other COD shooter fanboy idiots.

He did almost exclusively linger on the bad in the game and said very little good, but what do you expect from a series that is on it's 5th main installment in the series? Really My only problem with this whole is the fact that it doesnt feel like a survival horror game that is the Resident Evil series. Its too much action. But regardless of that it was still a great and wonderful game Just not a Resident Evil game.
While X-Play may not always be right; they are completely right about this game. RE5 truly sucks and is unable to keep up with the hype of the series. After RE4, which was a very good game, people are going to expect a lot more from RE5. RE5 was a huge disappointment because it was unable to provide entertaining game play and mechanics. In addition to not very entertaining story, RE5 was overall a bad game even if it is fun to play every blue moon. Lastly, RE5 was made by a different person.

This game is exactly RE4, except with BETTER graphics, and CO OPERATIVE play. THAT MAKES THIS GAME BETTER THAN RE 5... sorry. When it comes to GAMEPLAY, RE 5 is better. When it comes to being "scared", then RE 4 takes it. But I really don't give a shit about being scared... or else I would have gotten a game like DEAD SPACE - That game fits the bill better.

I love this game, every third person game doesn't need to be a clone of Gears of War. And I'm sick of ppl calling this game racist just cuz it has black ppl as zombies and shows them being hanged and such. I mean, no past characters were in it. They should of had Jill be the other playable character anyways instead of this newcomer Sheva. They should've stuck to the original roots to the series in the first place. RE4 was even way better than this. But enough of bashing on the game. Its both for me pretty much. Good and bad. And before I say anything else, I've been a fan of the series since the beginning myself too so dont put me in with any other noob to the series. The A.I. wasn't as terrible to me as everyone else says. I've never once had her run in my path and stand there so I couldnt see anything. The main thing she did was either waste ammo or not shoot when she should be shooting. I did like the story even if it didnt have a satisfying finish to an end of a series.

RE 5 was a good game BUT its biggest flaw was it didn't actually feel like a Resident Evil game. It was just to much action and it lacked the horror quality we all know and love from the RE series. Hopefully in the near future RE 6 will make up for this and bring back the horror, thats what I'm truely looking forward to.
I thought it was awsome. Not quite 5/5 awsome, but still friggin sweet. I think some people just like to piss and moan and nit pick, but over all was really fun and I have played it over and over. Yeah, the AI wasnt great, but I had next to no problem with it. It only really rarely effected me. Everyone says it was too much of an action game. I kind of like blowing people's heads off with a comando sized arsenal. The bosses are too easy? They are easy in almost all new games, if they're there.
I thought Adam reviewed this game wayyyy to fast. And most of it was just bitching. This wouldn't of happened on the old X-play. Plus the review wasn't that funny or entertaining. The old X-play when they reviewed a game they wouldn't talk at 100 mph, they took there time and made it funny and made it entertaining. But they don't review like that anymore.
at one point they started bitching about controls and features that were in RE4, and they fucking loved RE4, they gave almost each version a 5/5. and resident evil 4 is the best game ever made.
@5324er I was thinking the same thing. Most of the features in RE5 were from RE4, and they gave RE4 great praise then all of a sudden they start bitching about RE5. It's like they reviewed RE4 right when they beat it. They loved RE4 at first, gave it a 5 out of 5. Then they play RE4 1 year later and then give RE4 a 3 out of 5. That's what this review felt like.
@Mister1800s well actually they gave re4 for the GC and ps2 both 5 out of 5's, then the wii version got a 4 out of 5 which isnt bad at all. and now theyre biting about re5. and i like not being able to walk while shooting, thats what made re4 awesome and challenging.
i say bring the classic zombie fights :( enough with the parasites... bring the terror of the T & G virus! they could think of a way to bring it back like they did in the resident evil animated movie.. if they cant think of any way.. they could introduce new characters who have also survived the racoon incident and see how they managed to escape through the game.. hell they could let us play with chris and see how he fought his way out of racoon city!! -_-

I agree with almost all the criticism, RE5 was a disappointment to the series and inferior to RE4, but I actually thought fighting the tribal spearchucking "zombies" were some of the better gameplay moments in the game, next to laboratory combat with the Lickers (which were the only really frightening parts). And I hate that, in order to avoid some accusations of "racism", they have to throw in some middle eastern and asian guys among the black african population. Why? It's totally unrealistic!

Gamer trolls really are in a league of their own. Sessler explains that he was harsh in the scoring because of a clunky control scheme and because your partner is totally useless outside of co-op. Valid complaints, they've given 2 stars for smaller problems. He also explained that he thought the racial tone was in using the African cultural symbols for laughs rather than really exploring the symbolism, but that flew over everyones head it seems.

I mean, no past characters were in it. They should of had Jill be the other playable character anyways instead of this newcomer Sheva. They should've stuck to the original roots to the series in the first place. RE4 was even way better than this. But enough of bashing on the game. Its both for me pretty much. Good and bad. And before I say anything else, I've been a fan of the series since the beginning myself too so dont put me in with any other noob to the series. The A.I. wasn't as terrible to me as everyone else says. I've never once had her run in my path and stand there so I couldnt see anything. The main thing she did was either waste ammo or not shoot when she should be shooting. I did like the story even if it didnt have a satisfying finish to an end of a series.

RE 5 was a good game BUT its biggest flaw was it didn't actually feel like a Resident Evil game. It was just to much action and it lacked the horror quality we all know and love from the RE series. Hopefully in the near future RE 6 will make up for this and bring back the horror, thats what I'm truely looking forward to.

I thought it was awsome. Not quite 5/5 awsome, but still friggin sweet. I think some people just like to piss and moan and nit pick, but over all was really fun and I have played it over and over. Yeah, the AI wasnt great, but I had next to no problem with it. It only really rarely effected me. Everyone says it was too much of an action game. I kind of like blowing people's heads off with a comando sized arsenal. The bosses are too easy? They are easy in almost all new games, if they're there.

I thought Adam reviewed this game wayyyy to fast. And most of it was just bitching. This wouldn't of happened on the old X-play. Plus the review wasn't that funny or entertaining. The old X-play when they reviewed a game they wouldn't talk at 100 mph, they took there time and made it funny and made it entertaining. But they don't review like that anymore.

@5324er I was thinking the same thing. Most of the features in RE5 were from RE4, and they gave RE4 great praise then all of a sudden they start bitching about RE5. It's like they reviewed RE4 right when they beat it. They loved RE4 at first, gave it a 5 out of 5. Then they play RE4 1 year later and then give RE4 a 3 out of 5. That's what this review felt like.

I agree with almost all the criticism, RE5 was a disappointment to the series and inferior to RE4, but I actually thought fighting the tribal spearchucking "zombies" were some of the better gameplay moments in the game, next to laboratory combat with the Lickers (which were the only really frightening parts). And I hate that, in order to avoid some accusations of "racism", they have to throw in some middle eastern and asian guys among the black african population. Why? It's totally unrealistic!

Gamer trolls really are in a league of their own. Sessler explains that he was harsh in the scoring because of a clunky control scheme and because your partner is totally useless outside of co-op. Valid complaints, they've given 2 stars for smaller problems. He also explained that he thought the racial tone was in using the African cultural symbols for laughs rather than really exploring the symbolism, but that flew over everyones head it seems.
