Paul Mccartney has an aged voice, but you can still hear his own voice. Elvis has a softer more open tone but also something else to the sound of his voice.

if jons not elvis then how many etas are there?and how many sound close to elvis?well ive not heard a song yet that says he is not elvis. i was a sceptic maybe because i felt i was defending elvis now i realise i was hurting his feelings sorry. ive analysed all i can about jon that i could find  the ultimate test for elvis to proof himself would be what he does best which is sing and jonvis passes the test easily anyone can look like someone only jon sounds like elvis 100% whys that.?

An average actor will play a drunk as if its a sober actor trying to convince you he is drunk. Its the same here ... this sounds like someone who sounds like Elvis pretending to be Elvis. The real Elvis wouldn't sound as contrived. Also, the accent would have changed after 20+ years of trying to be incognito. This is someone doing a great Elvis.

Maybe Elvis's twin Jesse didn't die at birth, maybe he was adopted out as the family was very poor at the time. Cause Jon sounds so much like Elvis it is scary. Or maybe Elvis had enough and just had to get away. I remember once on an interview Lisa was asked did she have any kind of connection to her father after his death. And her answer was after a pause, she preferred not to answer the question. To me that was a giveaway that there is more to her father's supposed death.

voice is very similar to elvis. if you listen closely,jon doesnt pronounce certain words the same as elvis did.

I believe that Elvis DID fake his death (to protect his family and himself from the mafia). Naturally, he would still be living the lie but would want to carry on singing. Why does JC tease us all (his tee shirt with ELVIS spent backwards and his email address with 1835 after his name (Elvis was born in 1935) etc? There are one too many coincidences!

@alleybagoyo I'm 60yo and have been an Elvis fan all my life. This is one of my all-time favorite Elvis songs; I've listened to it maybe a few thousand times in the past 40 years. When I heard "Jon Cotner's" version, I immediately got goose bumps - a total non-intended reflex reaction to the sound. Elvis had the most distinctive voice of any singer of the past 100 years. That is Elvis. Let's respect the man's desire for privacy. He wanted out of the Rat Race. He left us his Legacy. Enjoy!!
