you did an awesome job!!! Did you take any ASL classes in school or any other course work? can you please add my facebook page? Thanks and again Great Job :)
Are you a student or is your signing just heavily accented from the southern USA? I can't tell, because your handshape and precision issues could be those of a hearing student OR just heavily accented sign of the southern USA? Either way, you are totally at RIT given that room background. GOOD LUCK!
This video is amazing. I learned to sign this song in SEE/PSE for the talent portion of a pageant I was in, so I know how hard it is. This is a very fast paced song with a lot of words, and it's not easy to sign all of them. I really respect you for that. I get so disappointed when I go to watch an ASL video, and there're only a couple words being signed for each sentence. I really love your videos, you do a great job. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy watching these. :)
sick!!! you go to rit? that is awesome! I am going to MCC next semester then transfering and I am thinking of going to RIT or Keuka after! Good Luck with your studies!
You seemed a little stiff, get loose! I'm trying to transfer to RIT, that's cool that you go there! Good luck getting into the interpreting program though, you aren't bad! Maybe one day you'll be my interpreter. :P
1) Set your camera off of Auto-Focus. It's really distracting when you all of a sudden fade out because of your camera.
2) It's important to have a clear background. Sometimes I find myself more interested in your class schedule or your white-board.
3) UNGLUE YOUR ELBOWS FROM YOUR SIDES. This is really important. It forces your hands to take up a wider space, which makes them more clear and will relieve some of the tension in your arms.
That was awesome! Just 1 question, what's the sign you use for "oh oh oh". Me and a couple of my friends started an asl club in our school like last year so I'm not that great with a lot of signs lol.Thanx.
Very nice. You should totally go for a signing major. You were very clear and easy to understand. I'm actually taking sign at MCC this semester, so I got all the signs that are rochester specific =P
@hiroyoshi92 that's great! Did you make it into the Interpreting program yet? I Skype and sign with people who are interested in practicing/learning more signs, if that's something you're interested in. I think you have promise as an interpreter! :) <- former RIT student
@jcorona219 Thanks for the advice! I mainly rushed because I didn't know the lyrics fully by memory, so you see my eyes keep darting to the left side of me because I had the lyrics posted there. I've honestly only taken ASL 1 but I'm at RIT hoping to get into their ASL-English Interpreting major so I'm sure I will improve over time :)
@hiroyoshi92 Good Luck! I got into the ITP Program there, but i ended up going to Bloomsburg, 'cause they have a ITP program too. Plus they were a lot closer to me.

You did an awesome job! You had to really sign fast, since it looked like you did a sign for each word, or really close! Thanks! I enjoyed it!

@Sterlingsv you can just fingerspell "oh" because that is probably easier to understand.

@Sterlingsv He is signing "WOW WOW WOW," or something along those lines.
