to top it off carly got away with trying to kill someone and accidently almost killing someone on their wedding day and even though it was an accident and melanie didn't press charges on her then she should have got thrown in Jail or prison for stealing and using a cop gun to kill someone & also for wreckless and indangerment of a person life whether the person press charges or not and also for breaking the ristraining order and for using false identification for chlose .

and then when that didn't happened they, I mean carly and bo tried to make melanie feel like the bad guy and then when melanie start's to being nice to carly , carly shot melanie on her wedding day and Yes I know it was an accident but it still doesn't change the fact that carly shot melanie and carly didn't need to or have to point the gun at vivian while melanie was standing their right beside vivian, carly could have fire the gun up in the air to get vivian attention and have some with her.

I'm Just tired of carly always getting away with things and before she came back to town she got away with killing her husband, Yes I know it was in self defense but carly made her self look guilty by running instead finally standing up for herself after the incident with her husband but she didn't then she made herself into a homewrecker and then she tries to force melanie into liking her without telling melanie the truth and then she have bo ganging up on melanie for not liking her.

Why is it that Brady's never own up to their own parts...Melanie and Phillip are no angels but they own up to their crap. Nathan was honest to Stephanie about his feelings for Melanie, she still wanted to keep the relationship going. Melanie has had some weak and stupid moments. but Steph, Chloe and Phillip have really done a number on her, she hasn't run to Nathan either, she is having a real ruff time and a lot of doubts about her choices but she is handeling it pretty dignified I might add.

@karrie2820 I personally think his issue was worse than simple favoritism. No one else on the show was written as poorly or as sparsely as him...except the older characters (Lexie, Abe, Roman etc). I have always felt he pissed someone off and they were taking it out on him in the scripts.

BUT little did they realize the chem that would spark between Phelanie making them a rootable couple. I do feel sorry for MH (Nathan) & think that they could still use his character more so than Stephanie. They've tried to make her unsuccessfully now with three different men in three years & she's had no chem with any, but as usual Brady over Horton.

@karrie2820 You know I never believed that endgame phinie mate stuff Croday said. It was not reflected in the writing at all. Phinie were written to break up...she wanted to change him, she couldn't accept him. And all the while Melanie was there driving him nuts, but liking him just as he was. Also...did you ever notice that Nathan never wanted to date Mel until the show had Philip decide he wanted to date her too? If Mate were endgame shouldnt they have had a story without Phil first?

@slyn11 That was IMO the writing because it reminded me alot of Carrie/Sami - I think they (being the writers) thought that Stephanie was going to be the girl both guys would be fighting over with Melanie as the instigator, instead like Sami Melanie outshined who they thought was going to be their go to girl.....making Phelanie more rootable and leaving Stephanie as the instigator.

@slyn11 I guess it all boils down to chemistry of the character, & for me (not being a Stephanie fan already) I have yet to see her have any chemistry with anyone they've paired her with. Plus they insist on this sparing of her & Melanie which IMO hurts her character even more, if they keep her which I'm sure they will they need to get her out of Melanie's orbit....Put her in a relationship away from the one's they've tried and go from there, but for god's sake take her off the dang pedestal.

@karrie2820 They made her gray. . One of the reasons I was never big on Days in the past is because the show was so black and white. There were heroes and villains but never many who were a bit of both. I like to be able to see the good in characters that do bad. And I like to be able to find the flaw in the "good" characters. That is why I have always loved Philip and Nicole...even when Days was more b/w, you could always sense the vulnerability in those two.

@slyn11 Agreed & that comes with good acting, I know they're trying to make Steph more gray but the way they are doing it just looks like she chickens out everytime she starts to do something bad or she blames it on someone else. One of the things I always adored about Sami & Nicole both where when they did things you felt their pain on the mistakes they made. Stephanie you just wait to see who gets blamed this time, she bad mouthed Melanie to all who would listen just to justify her actions.

But then again it also goes back to writing, Stephanie got exactly what she deserved.
