  • Great work! I'm thinking of doing this same process to my vivarium, do u know if the mortar or paint is poisonous? The tank would get very humid and wet... With frogs I side.

  • @enfinite5 As long as you do the rinse process as i describe in one of my vids. You should be just fine. Good Luck !!

  • damn man, your good and the explanation...goodluck and thank you

  • loooks so real, the torch effect really makes it looks great by smoothing everything out

  • In your case, I would try using the Dry-Lok instead. It would apply more like paint and give it a hard shell. And you can still tint it with the mortar colors.

  • i want to make a water fall for my green water dragon, do you think i can do all of this without the grout process? great video very informative thanks!!!!

  • No, I used ready mix. Although, I would be curious to see if that would help make the cement stronger and give it a better texture.

  • do ya not use sand when mixing the cement or is it just water cement and die

  • Agreed, rookie mistakes. Thanks man !!!

  • Well good luck to you, hope you have as much fun as I did. Just remember to lightly sand the foam board, ( to remove the shinny surface ) before you silicone it all together.

  • Thankyou so much for taking the time to make this video. I'll be making one for my 110. I think I might go with 1.5"-2" thick foam board. might be quicker for me.

  • So good!
