Beamish is probably the best "stout" I have ever tasted - Much better than Guinness. Next time try tilting your glass a bit more and waiting a bit longer until the "cascade" has completely fallen (No offence).....Cheers!
Brewed in Cork, Ireland. I had a skinful of it on Friday. Rough shtuff. Makes your farts smell like a dead cat stook behind a radiator. But it's as cheap as Paris Hilton. Try Murphys if your lookin for somethin smoother. Its even smoother than Guiness. Also brewed in Cork like! You only really get it here, most of Ireland doesn't have either of those two stouts, the country is fixated on Guiness. Have you ever heard of O'Haras?
There is a pressure (bulb) spherical contraption in the can that contains nitrogen and beer. When opened, the capsule releases pressure and agitation in the beer occurs, creating the head.
not a bad one that pete you should do Newcastle brown ale if you fancy something a little different. Would fit nicely in with your ale section of reviews.
Keep up the good work and have a great holiday season.
Slightly interesting side note. NB is commonly known as 'Dog ' on some areas , ...as it makes you feel dog rough the day after.... lost something in recent years the ol Newky Brown ....though if you like that try Daniels Hammer....slowly :)
OK Pete, I'm gonna try it. It's actually available here in Milwaukee. Just a heads up for you... Henninger Bier, German and yummy if you can find it unpasteurized.
Excellent:) If you like that I wonder..hmm. have you heard of Timothy Landlords ? thats a great session beer if ever there was one ...Also if ever up North way ..past Cumbria area start asking for 80Shilling( they do a 70 and a 90 also) ...another super pint in a similar vain to those we've discussed.
Oh forgot to say for give me chewing up your comments ....when in Ireland many folks be putting Bulmers half and half with the black stuff and calling it Black Velvet ... not bad if feeling fruity ...the Perry Bulmers do works also ...
Cork, Ireland. Its brewed in Cork City, County Cork.

I'd rather watch some pot-heads smoke up. It's a little more fun, but maybe it's just me.

That would be killer on tap, but Its one of the best tasting can beers you will have.. It has that plastic pressure bulb in it to keep it fresh.
