Tony, this is so moving, made me cry, so heartfelt. I never saw Big Country live, to my eternal regret. You guys were the best of them. Thank you for all the music, I listen to BC every day, abosolutely tove the group now. The music of BC has touched my soul. Take care.
Nice song tony and very nice voice.Ive been a Big country fan since day one.I seen you once at the Hollywood pallidium LA,the seer tour.Anyway the music is still fantastic In a Big country still gets me going,But Wonderland is a kickass song. There all good. Thanks again keep going with your music.dundee boy in La.
Great song. Always loved your work, Tony. What was that TV show from the 80's where you and others showed people what it was like to be in a band? I think you had a Roland synth bass. I loved it.
I'd love to see you guys tour the U.S. There are many BC fans here in the U.S. who never got to see BC play live. BBW would be a great show to have the privilege of attending.
What a moving tribute! I'm not particularly emotional, but this song made me tear up...There was something special about the whole dynamic of Big Country that we may never have again. Life goes on, because it has to, but we won't forget Stuart anytime soon.
But, we've still got you and Bruce and Mark, and hopefully there will be more BBW stuff to come!
Kerpat, this song blew me away! Saved, Faved AND Subscribed!

PS, do you still have my Scotland flag from the Pinkpop concert in Holland? It was only 24 years ago :)
Hey Tony, I was very touched by this vid...it still hurts to see Stuart not among us today. A passionate, yet simple man, loved by all those who were affected by his music. Anyway, I'd thought I'd let you know that I've set aside my income tax refund check to finance my trip to see BC play Nashville, and that's even if they do play my hometown of Cincinnati in 2008, so we Yanks can pay our long-overdue respects to his memory. Stay Alive, Clem in Cin City, USA
Hey TB, thanks for posting this great vid. I also downloaded your acoustic demo of this song from the Big Country website. Wishing you all the best from Zwolle, the Netherlands.
Tony, this is a hard song. you know Stuart the better than us, and you also can judge him a little harder. Nevertheless, Stuart seemed to lose his vision, his understanding (dream boy as you call him). Consequently, he is a victim of the present evil world. There is no great answer beyond that.
This is beautiful! Tony your bass is played so well, love your sound along with Chris Squire as a parallel. Thanks for your sincere music. Come play a gig in Vermont!
Tony, what a privilege to be able to tell you the impact that your music has made on my life. Big Country, Pretenders, and Pete Towneshend, wow, you have worked with the best. I especially love Big Country. It's hard to pick a favorite song, but I really like the thunderous "Flame Of The West". Great bass line! Enjoyed this song, "Dream Boy". I'm a teacher, too. Take care.
once again tony bruce and mark thanks for the big country sound remember you all well in sefton park liverpool as stu would have said stay alive see you in nottingham cheers billy

The VOICE! Life is hard indeed; especially when you have a purpose to show us all as it seems Stuart did. I hurt for the man who couldn't live his life as God intended. I miss him greatly. See you Stuart in the WT.
Wow waht can I say. What a great song. His loss still hurts me, I can imagine what it does for you. I thought you and Mark were brilliant with Pete Townshend, and certainly Big Country couldn't have been what it was without you. You gave me strength through hard times, and still do.
Great song . From the first time i saw you at the old glasgow apollo to the last fling tour i was hooked . It think my fav big country moment was at glasgow green just rewatched it for the first time in mabye 20 years and harvest home kicks arse lol .
Lovely song and arrangement Tony. Subtle key changes that would have made the hairs stand up on the neck of Stuart himself. Never realised that you musical prowess extended to the six string too - lovely fret work. See you, Tony and Mark in Glasgow in July. Stay alive!
Tony, thanks for posting that. Still got the bass plectrum you threw into the crowd in Clapham Grand back in the UK. Now in China so won't be able to see you live. Fancy a gig in Shanghai? Our child isn't born yet but it just heard your song ;)

You and Mark made up one of the best rhythm sections in the history of rock. I'm glad you're still making music. I only found out about your CD from YouTube just from poking around. I can't wait for the CD to arrive from CDBaby!
Hey Tony. There is this relentless push to connect with nature from the video. I'm just wondering where that is that coming from. Maybe I am reading too much into it. But the same kind of push seems to be in the original "In an Big Country" music video. Can you say anything about that?
Also I have to say that Empty Glass was and still is one of my most favorite albums. All the best. Kevin
Big Country was about many things and nature was probably an underlying force, but this song and video is just a simple song about a lost friend. We always preferred out door videos and this is an extension of that. If I do more, they will probably be outdoor shoots in nice places. Cheers TB.
Thanks Tony for a great song. My friend Alan and myself (from Northern Ireland), met you and the other members of Big Country at "Glasgow Nightmoves" in September 1982. Cheers for all those wonderful years my friend..
