  • i get the blocking i just need to know how to go faster whats the best way p.s. how do you study the body for a punch

  • this is great, i just saw 20 lessons in 1 day, i need fast a wing chun gym :D

  • If you mastered the last 18 videos to the point where you move like lightning, you can probably take yourself to the streets and not be fearful of anything besides guns.

  • if you not lock when you block, the kick that will bounce you back!

  • its not particular. its pachikla

  • Cant do partner stuff dont have a partner

  • @sopro671 Same here..

  • @sopro671 SAME HERE

  • @sopro671 visualize one until you can find a partner

  • @sopro671 Use a hard object like a tree or wooden dummy.

  • but be carefully : some bad guys can learn wing chun with your lessons and beat sb. up!!!

  • you are my second sensai or master^^ i mean it serious^^

  • @STARWOLF13MMO Same. This guy's actually way better than my douchebag karate teacher.

  • Master Wong you are by far the best martial arts instructor I have ever seen. I am so thankful that you have made a way for me to learn Wing Chun. I watch your videos and practice what you teach. I am teaching WIng Chun to my son and nephew. They love it! I have been trained in Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, and Judo. Wing Chun is the best self-defense there is. Again, thank you for making a difference in my life. I feel confident I can defend myself the best way using your techniques.

  • Robot dancing! xD Great style of martial arts :)

  • hey i have a question for you, why say most people WT its orginal but its not correct?

    WC its orginal...?have other techinic??!...

  • @kayastar89 - The Chinese character 春 from WC or WT means the season 'spring' and can be phonetically translated to 'chun' or Tsun, or ceon etc.

  • why do other sifu's not teach in this way. I hate it when a jkd class consists of kickboxing week in week out. Need more technical training and defence + blocking. I think theres a lot more to learn than just how to punch and kick.

    Sifu Wong is great.

  • @JacquesZupp

    lol hahahah XD

  • perticular lesson perticular exercise

  • exelent explain

  • thx a lot

i learned many thing from this video

  • I saw the movie "IP man" (Ip man is the master of "burce lee") and in that movie he used this hand-block to block the middle and high kick.

  • At the end of the move when he was fighting with that Japanese guy.

  • PARTRICULARRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • I train Wing Chun and Freefight (Judo,BJJ,JJ, Greco/Roman) and thats the best combo ever!

  • @Klootjee Depends on the situation

  • @Lukash636 yah, i realised that wing chun suckd in a MMA match or a real fight so now i do kick/boksing

  • awesome great video

  • going to learn this wung chun and judo and hopefully i'll be as good as a fighter as i can possibly be

  • @p4pj1 i am learning wung chun and tkd and it works amazing trust me!OH MY GOD

  • I practice the WC in a club and I can tell you than this is a middle kick block. High kick block ? I don't know but in WC you learn too how to block high kicks.

  • let's call him Master Particular for now on, what do you say?

    lol just kiddin..

  • ouh God how wud u say dat?

  • @togsniper you mean parchickula?

  • Im not sure but i guess what he means with locking is that you have to tense your muscles while your doing the block. You can compare it to locking or rather popping in dancing.

  • Sifu Wong is der bess... On thit pahtchikular essersais i will gong fu you on hao to du ther basik insaide blok. if you reddy wee can practik it togeder.

  • thank you master. i like wing chun

  • what do you mean by lock????

  • Your backfoot must be steady on the ground, so when you accept the force of the kick you won't lose your balance

  • huahaha 1:23

    That can become a Nasty

  • a real Master : )

  • Pivoting on the ball of the foot provides a better balance to the body. If you were to focus all your weight to the heel, then you are most likely to fall with a slightest push by the opponent. Pivoting on the ball also has a smoother movement than the heels. You can try by doing the footwork with the ball and the heel and compare the difference to know what I mean. [=

  • Sounds like my dad. Not even kidding.

  • does yer dad drop the F bomb when he gets excited too? =)

  • this is awesome!

  • Kün Sao

  • ON THIS PACHIKULAR EXCERCISE

  • hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa jesus man!!! i cant hold it!!!! each excercise is so funny in the beginning! i wudnt dare to laugh in front of him though!!! i really respect this man!!! he is so good! i can tell by the first video even that this is no bullshit!!!! thanks so much master wong for your training videos! i really appreciate that! all my best thanks to you!

  • There's no real need to poke fun at his accent. What he's saying is still sound.

  • LET ME BORROW U JIM :)

  • I'm trying to find one where he swears. "an knock tha fucka out!". I love it. lol

  • He really says that?!

I don't think so, Master Wong is a man of humility.

  • haha

  • yes, he is but he really says that.

  • What he meant by talk to you....he says if ever a moment we need to defend ourselves in reality, the only way we can use this particular movement in good effect is if we practice. So this means even the most optimistic person or one in good instincts isn't ready for this one respectively unless they practices regularly.

  • about this technique the foot work is chum kiu is it not? by what i learned the foot work is pivoting on the heel. i see sifu wong pivoting on the ball of his feet, my question is how come he isnt pivoting on his heels?

  • I see what you mean. It looks almost like he is pivoting in the middle of the foot. I believe he was just focusing on the hands and not the feet

  • some wing chun lineages turn on the heel and some on the balls of the feet

  • I agree with this point... I was thinking the same thing when watching. I have watched a few lessons now, and I hardly hear him use the correct terms of simple moves, like bong sou, tan sou, etc... id like to hear him use these words.

...Im no master se-fu, iv only bin studyin for just over a year now :)

  • i think he just wanted us to not dwell on the name but the techniques. a lot of people focus on the names of techniques but it doesn't matter as long as you practice.ive been doing it for a little over a year too

  • That's pretty easy to explain. Martial arts is about adaptation, correct? Perhaps Sifu Wong is more comfortable pivoting on the ball of his foot rather than his heels.

  • i believe it is important to preserve the practices of every style perfectly, but then outside of the teachings and practice you can add and take away what you want. but it is important to preserve the traditional style i believe.

  • Keep up the good work my friend ..

    Your trainning area is awsome

  • very good Master Wong

  • mrwong - i lik your stuff. why arent you showing the, the wrist rotation that makes wing chun...well...wing chung?

  • thanks alot....

    kempobrad

  • the body movements with hands swing are very similar to tabletennis...

thats what i found out.. no wonder the body turns are so familiar

  • balls of fury!

  • Master Wong will be posting Wing Chun lessons up on you tube everyday. He has already posted 18 lessons! If you have any questions that you would like answered on your own training, Master Wong will reply to it by video response so look out for it. Master Wong will gladly answer them if asked at an appropriate manner and are a sensible question to help with their training. This is a free training service Master Wong supplies in the hope of reaching those who want to train & learn.

  • Good lesson! Thanks.

  • Please be patients as there is more to come, just keep watching!

  • i've got a question, is there a certain part of the forearm you need to use?

  • even you know all the block but how do you react to the attack since you dont no which are coming either foot, hand, hook, uppercut, etc... thats coming so fast....sometimes you dont have enough time to change your body possition...please advice..

  • Well what you need to do is drill 3-5 simple movements till its in your system as a reflex. Everyday, 100's of times. Then do it slow and light against a partner. Then faster and with more resistance. Sooner or later you'll get used to seeing an attack come from a certain angle and you can learn to deal with it. You won't be able to block everything, but you won't be helpless either. Just train a few simple things to start and build from there.

  • thanks for your reply for my previous question....thats very helpfull... i have another question..... i m practicing lesson 1 - 8 now and wong sifu always saying about line, what line is that... is it centerline? and he have mention about "look at his line"...please explain to me more about centerline or line that wong sifu talking about... thanks..

  • the line of attack. ie...the direction/angle he's coming from.

  • nice video

  • hi there, i have a question.

is there a way to block a hook kick or a front kick in the wing chun system?

  • Veryy good keep working and please show us defence for kicks 2
