steam get on my fucking tits man, i hate it, why have a thing to run a pc game? its never working properly anyway. my sup com 2 doesnt work online beause steam perma updates and gpg net is even worse. used to love sup com, now it sucks arse

I hope you can :/ But there already are some games which need to have steam or similar stuf up to play even in singleplayer. But I guess they learned from those mistakes and will make steam only needed for MP launcher :)

Looks similar to the map Over Crude Water in TA, which was by no means a realistic map, but damn was it fun.

I don't understand why this game is so unopular, I think those Starcraft 2 (haha, supcom and starcraft --> sc xD) fans are way to overexcited for the bliz game. The beta of Starcraft 2 is great, but supcom 2 will still be alot better ^^ Only thing which sucks is that they don't want to have the GPGnet and insteadd STEAM, I HATE STEAM!!!

@Earthplayer What's so bad about steam? Haven't used it so far, so I know only little about it ATM.

Eats PC resources, has a pretty bad ingamechat (which can block better ones like Xfire sometimes), often updates, has endless downloadtimes from time to time (not always), often does weird things, it feels kinda stupid to have to start games via steam (steam must be active to start game), etc.

Everything about this game seems good so far except i dont like the style of the new maps especially ones like in this they look really unrelastic and too over the top

Just for singleplayercampaign there are 18 great maps which get larger and larger like in supcom fa. And I think that given from this fact (Chris Taylor interview) you can just make up your mind to get the idea that there will be at least 15 maps at the beginning which all will be different. On top of that the graphics of trees still suck so I like that there are alot of maps which may not look realistic but have the steel and stone type of landscape^^. SupCom 2 ftw :)

I think it looks like the thing supcom1 was supposed to be :) It seems that all the bad issues have been fixed and more good ones came in. I always loved Supcom 1 and I think supcom 2 will be even better :) But first I will play Bioshock 2 :D
