  • Nat king cole, omg what a voice! he has the most mellow amazing voice ever!! and i am not old, just appreciate his fantastic voice.x

  • Hi Mr Slinger

  • nat king cole and dean martin xmas album, i play mine every year.

  • Beautifully sung , as all Nat's songs are. The lyrics (likely not by design) kind of describe the demise of the nuclear family and results thereof.....

  • One of my all time Favorite Christmas Songs ever sung by one of the Greatest Singers of all time, Mr. Nat King Cole. What can you say except this is phenominal.

  • IS THIS THE SADDEST SONG EVER WRITTEN?

  • I do understand the point to the song anyway. The song is about the poor family that couldn't afford to put out gifts for Santa. As a result, the boy's hearts broken and his parents can only pretend that Santa Claus passed them by. It's kind of a shot against the concept of telling kids about Santa Claus when we may not be able to give gifts for the occasion. Kids may start feeling that they aren't good enough to get gifts too. That's my take on the song anyway.

  • why would you play this song with a video of your children? i've always said that this is the song you'd listen to if you were cutting your wrists at christmas.

  • makes you wonder how many people put a shotgun to their head while listening to this song

  • not gunna lie, i probably wouldnt willingly associate my children with "The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot"

  • i absolutely love this song .nat king cole sings it lovely. it makes me feel a little sad, but i sing it to my grandchildren to make them know how lucky they are.

  • so sad but true

  • The point of this song i think is to let us know they are people who have no one, and should never be forgot....

  • amazin .. listen 2 th album every yearrr .. lyk tradition :)

  • even though its depressing i still love this song. it reminds me so much of Christmas.

  • just when you think it cant get any more depressing you then find out he doesnt have a dad!!!:(

p.s sorry if you read this before listining to the song, i might have just ruined the ending

  • My grandpa Murray would cry and make us turn it off every time we played it.

  • love this song reminds me of my grandma!

  • this is depressing

  • Why is there so much hate in the world?

  • The type of persons who give responses like this on Youtube are no doubt persons who have no intellect and they know that they cannot be seen via the internet. They are in essence cowards.

  • i dont even know why you graced him with a response

  • Marissa, you are absolutely correct.

  • the vera lynn version is much better

  • that kid isnt five months!!

  • Ooops... you're right. My mistake. It was his second Christmas (the 'Marshmallow World' video is his first). My mistake. Don't tell the wife, lol.
