  • What year did Bill Jorgensen died?

  • With sister station WWOR having adopted the "10 O'Clock News" name, Fox should bring this theme back for that newscast. Oh yeah, right, Fox isn't Tribune, they don't care about their stations' history.

  • HOT!!!!!!!!!! Hot 70's tune! And I just discovered it today. So, I'm gon' save it and play it back a few times later tonight... I ain't got no choice now.

Hey, BTW, did I see two live 1977 clips at 0:19 for Studio 54 (to the upper-right of the Mr. October shot) & CBGB's (right below the Mr. October shot), respectively? I bet I did!!! 1977 had to have been the coolest most FUCKED-UP year (the "coolest year in hell"?) in NYC history. 1998 summer was my most personal favorite.

  • @BrooklynEagle YES YOU ARE SO ON POINT! Reggie, CBGB's.. GR8 TIME IN NYC!

  • Cool music! They should have this song on WNYW to the present.

  • The opening looks like it could be the opening to a crime show.

  • @blklthrtn.... Shit what else is on the news.

  • The closing to Ten O'Clock News, where they play the instrumental version of the "I Love New York" jingle as their closing theme.

Does anybody have a copy of the Ten O'Clock news closing?
