I saw these guys at NAMM when in '87, and it was unbelievable. They Ibanez booth almost exploded. Scott Travis blew my mind, and all of the others were like spot on. The guitars were bone dry, and cranked, but the playing was flawless. I was dumbfounded. Silly good band. ApB

Bass Player actually did a feature story on Alderete, and he was on their cover. It was their March 2005 issue, and I own a copy. I agree, though. Alderete is really underrated.
