Shame about the gameplay lag issues, it's funny because the Original XBOX/Chihiro Arcade Machine had a 733MHz Pentium III/Celeron Processor and the XBOX 360 has a 3.2GHz PowerPC G5 Tripple Core and it has lot's of lag, why? why does emulation have to suck really bad!

Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast is even better. Not only does it have all the stages from Outrun 2 but also a set of completely new ones.

@SatoshiMatrix1 No, it's not better. It's driving model is dumbed down for more casual users who couldn't deal with the 'original O2 skill level and it's also missing the Daytona 2/Scud Race tracks. It also doesn't have the original Outrun arcade game as an unlockable and last but not least, it has a less fun single player career mode.

I've only played Outrun 2 SP (at the arcade back in the day in those beautiful yellow F50s, and in Outrun Online Arcade before it was removed from PSN), but which game has the better tracks? As much as I love it, this looks much more entertaining than SP.

What went wrong with xbox? My first xbox was fooking bomb proof, bullet proof, death proof. Leave it on for weeks at a time and not have any problems. 360 however, play it too much and Boom RROD. Shame. Really liked playing my 360. Nevermind.

I've got Outrun 2, but I also have Outrun 2006 for the Playstation 2, they're more or less the same game, I believe the 2006 has more features, but either way, you can get the exact same game on Xbox Live or the Playstation Network as Outrun Online, for just 10 bucks, so choose your flavor.

This game runs flawlessly on the original XBox. I was disappointed when I tried it on the 360 as it did seem quite buggy. That's why I kept my original XBox - For kick-ass games like this one!
