In fact, you can still find lots of quality player pianos for sale on craigslist or eBay, including Aeolian players. I would recommend having a technician do an inspection on any player instrument before making a purchase, in order to tell if there are serious issues. My instrument was mfd. in 1912, & no longer produced.
Keep searching YouTube, lots of good vids including rare Orchestrions & Nickelodeons.
are you sure you dont have a piano roll playing?(as a compliment) i like alot! but i think i never aqquired the likes of the sound of older strouds. i dont know. just not my favorite. how hard was this to learn?
No, you'd see my feet pumping the pedals if I was ;) Thanks!
I had my piano voiced this way, an instrument can be versatile in sound. The computer recording microphone doesn't help. I can have my piano sound soft & gentle, or bright like I chose. I play pop, blues, & fox trots, & a bright piano sounds much better to me, in my opinion. The strings are also tuned to arround 441-442 A.
It took me about 3-4 weeks to work this up to playing. As per the descrip., I haven't played this in years.
You are awesome mate!!

You play clean and smooth and I like your player piano.
The player pianos I see nowadays are the digital ones.
First time for me to see this mechanical type.
It probably cost a fortune.
It seems, it's hardly manufactured nowadays.

That would be interesting, but having my piano tuned up even take some time because of financial challenge.
