Your son is absolutely adorable! I never had children (by choice), so I've never nursed a baby & I don't know much about breastfeeding. Tho if I did have a baby, I would definitely breastfeed him/her for however long it worked for my baby, me & my pediatrician. I do have a question tho- If it's feeding time for ur baby & the breast is right there for him, why would he suck his hand instead? Does it mean he's not hungry or is the act of sucking on his hand mean something totally different? THANKS

@luvmarykay1 Babies are distractible. Once they are done and not hungry any more, who knows what they will do next? He likes to have mama's breast close even though he is no longer not so hungry anymore, because her breast has many memories of security and love.

My baby does this too!! Almost exactly and I love it! :) He starts to go in to eat and then looks at me and giggles.
