  • @wesnnewt Thanks! We used the basic stuff. Beta 52 on kick, SM 57 on snare and tom. Cheap vocal condenser (CAD GXL 2200) overhead. But what made the cool drum sound was the drums themselves... a random little beat up 20" kick with no front head and a snare drum with a wallet sitting on it. Super dead, warm, perfect for indie.
