  • He Sucks!!! RIC FLAIR is a coach flyin, pinto drivin, denture stealin, dollar store dealin NO BILL PAYIN', son of a gun wooooooooooooooooo

  • The Al Pacino of wrestling

  • WOOOOOOOOO killing your legecy in tna is so cool -.-

  • the G.O.A.T.......WOOOOOOOOO

  • This video has even more meaning and relevance after the WWE HOF induction of Shawn Michaels this past weekend. Great story told here and the foreshadowing mentioning Shawn as a couple of years away from being the greatest is amazing. Especially given the fact he retired 2 years after this video was made!

Hope this presentation makes it to the WWE web site or a DVD release someday. It's that good.

  • ......damn masterful work here derek. Damn masterful.

  • Id like to know what the maker of this video thinks of Flair's current TNA run and his matches after the "retirement"

Great Video btw ;-) very professional and inspiring

  • If you made this yourself, it's fucking brilliant. Feels like I'm watching a proper WWE-produced video

  • he was a cheater

  • @melvin1123 and yet......he's a hall of famer, dont forget that.

  • I still feel WWE Upper brass forced out Flair ... Because they there is no equal

to him that could ever create ... Including HBK.

Michaels is spoiled human being who didn't deserve the honor of going over Flair.

And might I add that Michaels the most over rated performer in wrestling.

  • @johnmac091178 God Bless YOU for hitting that on the mark. HBK really didn't deserve most if not all of the accomplishments he is known for...aside from just being a spoiled human being that helped ruin a lot of careers.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • dude very well done for the greatest of all time bar none...people can argue...i don't care flair was god 2nd only to Double A....sorry always loved arn

  • beautiful man beatifull

  • ric flair is my s/s studies teacher now he is mr.storm

  • This has to be the greatest video tribute I've ever seen. Great job.

  • Flair is a Legend. I feel WWE should of let him win that Battle Royal that Khali won and let Flair drop the title to Batista. I will always remember Ric Flair.

  • and i have seen shawn put many others over, like sid, austin, triple h(many times), randy orton, kurt angle, hogan, john cena n the undertaker he has put over many and even so he still manages 2 steal the show with his greatness wether he wins, looses or draws!!!

  • @wrestledon not to break your heart but wrestling is fake.you can thank vince mcmahon for your incredibly awkward love for shawn micheals

  • @dhowardfacial i dnt love shawn michaels lool, n i the term "fake" is one word tht might describe it but i prefer 2 use the word "staged", tht is the part tht is fake about it doesnt make the moves fake, punches n kicks r fake not the high risk moves or shoulderslams. N it dont break my heart every1 has there opinion n tht is urs!!!

  • @wrestledon high risk?dude im more at risk when i drive on the highway going to school.listen my dad was a jobber in the wwe i know much more about this fake sport then you do.you lovewho vince mcmahon tells you to love and thats that

  • @dhowardfacial actually kurt is my favirout wrestler n he works 4 tna, not vince mcmahon, n u tell me who ur dad is???

  • hbk doesnt steal the spotlight simply cuz he already has the spotlight because he simply deserves it because of great he is, he is the greatest athlete in the history of the business n can any1 blame him 4 havin the spotlight, the only thing he steals is the show which is y he is called the showstopper, becuase thts how great he is, not once not twice not a few times not many times but every time he goes out there and shows every1 y he is the showstopper

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

  • miss them days!

  • HBK is NOWHERE NEAR the greatest of all time let only in the top 3....who ever stated that simply knowns nothing about the business whatsoever

  • Im sorry I love you ric is merely HBK upstaging Flair and putting the spotlight back on himself in Flairs final moments in the WWE. It wasnt a tribute but a underhanded tactic used to hog the focus, aka steal the spotlight...which is what hbk always does best

  • @Rvd420WHAT Shawn doesn't steal from anyone. He spent the last eight years putting guys over that weren't even in his league.

  • @1981CrueHead And who would that be?

  • @num1Jaysta He put over Shelton Benjamen, He put over the Miz. And a bunch of other guys that won't ever be stars. And yeah Shelton is a great athlete but part of this industry is having mic skills, and Shelton Benjamin cannot talk even to a women.

  • I'm glad if anybody had to retire him it was HBK not one of them new hip guys to get more popular

  • Nice video and good post.

Chi-Town Rumble 1989 Ric Flair vs Ricky Steamboat = Greatest match in the history of wrestling!

  • i knew his retirment was bull shit... maybe he hertired in wwe but wtf he dng in tna

  • And yet he goes to TNA.ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,,,,,

  • LOL @ the narrator's list of the Top 3 of all time, completely ignoring Hulk Hogan. God, I hate stupidity. Without Hulk Hogan, wrestling is still stuck in the dark ages. Without Hulk Hogan, McMahon never raises the revenue to thrust wrestling into the spotlight and give it the credibility it richly deserved in the late 80s. Without Hulk Hogan, nobody gives a rat's ass about Flair or HBK.

I get it, whitederek -- because Hogan is mainstream you automatically think he's overrated. Dead wrong.

  • @unclestrug I think he was talking about three of the greatest in ring performers of all time.

  • @unclestrug Ah, when Hulk Hogan was the top draw in WWF, Flair was the top draw in NWA at the same time. So you don't know what your talking about.

  • @Rescueme0909 I know exactly what I'm talking about, I watched both WWF and NWA. And "the top draw in NWA" is like saying "highest-rated infomercial". BIG DEAL. I know the truth hurts, but you might as well start accepting that without Hulk Hogan -- no matter what you think of him as a person or wrestler -- Ric Flair doesn't even come CLOSE to being a household name.

  • Comment removed

  • @unclestrug And your point? You said without Hogan nobody gives a rat's ass about Flair. Well, unless you don't know, which is obvious you don't, Ric Flair before Hulk Hogan was the man. He was the biggest heel, and went around the world to the different companies and people paid to see him lose all over USA. Flair was the man when Hogan was about to quit wrestling in AWA. So get YOUR facts straight. Without WWF, the time setting, and Vince - Hogan would've been a nobody. Flair earned his spot.

  • @Rescueme0909 No offense kid, but you're not very intelligent. I know my wrestling history, and yes, Ric Flair was "the man"... and yet despite being "the man", nobody outside of wrestling knew him. You just proved my point. Being the "man" of wrestling at that time didn't mean anything; wrestling was splintered into regions with nobody that was even close to a household name. It took Hogan's charisma to make it explode into what it was. Class dismissed.

  • @unclestrug I am not comparing Hogan to Flair. It's doesn't take a genius to figure out Hogan made more money and is the most well-known wrestler. The point is simple yet you don't get what I'm saying. You said without Hogan, Flair would be nothing neither would HBK. So stop brining up irellevant points because you are rendering the point of the moot. Flair was the most known wrestler before Hogan. And you should check how many people the companies drew in the 80s if you think "wrestling meant

  • @unclestrug "nothing back then." If you want, I can get some of their numbers they drew in the same area every week.

  • Rick is the greatest of all-time, period! How can anyone even argue that? If you do you're crazy! I'm 40yrs old and grew up watching wrestling. IN THE YEAR 1992 I FINALLY REALIZED WHO THE GREATEST OF ALL-TIME IS! That's Ric Flair. I was in the fifth-grade the first time I watched Rick on the tube. I will never forget thinking to myself: "Who the hell does he think he is?" The heel pulls you in and sells the show. No one will ever be better than Flair or wrestle as long!

  • Great job dude!!!

  • Great tribute

  • ric flair sucks

  • Shawn Micheals was a bit overrated in this video, but otherwise fantastic.

  • man thank you for making this video

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FOREVER

  • Isn't he still going in TNA? WOOOOOOOO!

  • WHITEDEREK: You better get that fucking job editing for WWE because you are AWESOME! This thing you did here is top quality, pro level. I would say that kind of makes you the Ric Flair of youtube video-makers. It's just such a pleasure to watch the product of obviously a lot of time and effort to make it perfect. And of course you chose the greatest wrestler in history to make it for, so it's that much better!

  • It's a shame he had to come back to TNA. IMO, he tarnished his match with HBK and his departure on RAW.

  • dynamite kid > shawn michaels

  • What a great video. Thanks so much for uploading.

    Flair is the greatest, period.

  • "Young lady, your mother rode Space Mountain 20 years ago. You can ride it tonight."

  • Christ, this guy was right, HBK was only a couple of years away..

  • Ric Flair retiring was a HUGE moment in wrestling he was just that big.

  • Awesome video! You have great talent and workmanship. Wish you well in the future!

  • that was one of the most well put together tributes i have ever seen that was truley a work of art. that would have brought a tear to flairs eye, grear work man!

  • didn't care for the music, would have preferred the original audio, but otherwise, great video. i have been a years long flair fan, but some don't remember his nwa days, when he was ripped and truly the best ever. i was glad in his final wwe match , he turned back time to bring out his full arsenal, which he hadn't done in years. we got to see his beautiful suplexes, slams, and even some high risk. i love you ric. you really are the best. "diamonds are forever, and so is ric flair!" rf.

  • I'm confused. I thought Ric Flair retired, but yet, he's actually wrestling in TNA now. What's up with that? And why the hell did he even sign with TNA?

  • @jmoon219 IS HE IN TNA? OMG

  • @jmoon219

    Why does anyone?

  • Greatest of all time. No. He's way passed his prime. Should of retired in 2001.

  • Shame he had to goto WWE.. the abortion of wrestling. NWA was the best

  • And boxing isn't fucking fixed and rigged?

    Get off youtube you clown.

  • did u really do this video urself?

  • HAHAHAHA all you stupid wwe fans paid your hard earned money to watch Flair's last match...I get to watch the old bastard stumble around for free on monday night!

  • and did he ever stumble around on Impact....i dont know who stumbled worse...Hogan or Flair

  • Greatest wreslter of all time.

  • Ric Flair is not my favorite wrestler but the video is good

  • Flair is the greatest performer and showman of all time. Flair was the Muhammad Ali of Pro-wrestling, and not many are close to him.

  • OH hey look who was smart enough to figure that out. Everybody already knows that its fake, we don't need idiots like you to repeat what millions of other people have said, its not like you saying it is gonna get people to realize anything. World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT. And stop comparing WWE to other sports, its a show all in its own.

  • @DontTouchTheSOUP i wouldnt really call it sport but if its a show then ye, its a show

  • @coolsvilleowner Then why would you compare it to boxing? You fail.

  • @DontTouchTheSOUP i was until u enlightened me about it not being a sport.

  • this would be good without all the lame ass music all I wanna hear on a ric flair video is some whooooo!!!!!!!!!! and some space mountain stylin profiln' whooooooooo

  • Top 7 wrestlers ever imo:

    1. Kenta Kobashi

    2. Misawa

    3. Ric Flair

    4. Original Tiger Mask

    5. Jumbo Tsuruta

    6. Ricky Steamboat (also, he's one of the most underrated wrestlers too)

    7. Chris Benoit / Jushin Liger

  • Now if your gonna put Taker in somehow, then your da man Henry! I would be proud if you would have Taker in Top 10. And Mutoh would be great too.

My list is almost da same. Top seven.

    1. Taker/Kobashi

    2. Flair

    3. Liger

    4. Mutoh.

    5. Benoit

    6.Steamboat

    7. Ultimo Dragon

One of the greatest too: Hart, Otani, Tsuruta.

  • ultimo dragon that guy is a botching machine

  • where's lou thesz?

  • Lou Thesz was an NWA champion many years ago, back when each region of the nation had its own wrestling promotion and champion.

  • I mean where's Lou Thesz in the list of all time greats.

  • what is the name of the song after the sweet chin music by hbk to flair?

  • leave the memory's alone by fuel

  • Da MAN

  • Pro wrestling two words = Ric Flair

  • I don't think you made this.

  • yea i think i've seen this somewhere else

  • whats the song called please :)

  • did you make this?

  • what? seriously? ofcourse dude, i poored my heart and soul into this.

  • Wow!! That was probably the best tribute i've ever seen. I thought i was watching something from a new Flair dvd. Awesome!!

  • flair is da greatest 4sho!

  • Excellent video

  • "The next in line is only a few years away..."? HBK is 44 years old... If he wanted to he could wrestle for 10 more years. I agree with a lot of your wrestling views (except for the fact that you are a "SMARK" who is in denile) but not that statement.

BTW I love your videos! You are great for Youtube! Subscriber right here!

  • Well a lot of this was opinon based. I feel that Flair couldnt be touched when it came to "the greatest of all time". Up until maybe 2007 when HBK really started stepping up his game. (and that's really saying something for his game.) I think he's on a level all by himself, and it will be a very long time until he is surpassed. It's kinda neat to watch him adapt and get better and better and better. it's real interesting stuff.

  • you also have to remember that people were calling him "the man" long before his retirement in 1998.

  • @whitederek2000 What do u think of Flair being in TNA? I think its badass!

  • I find it strange. im not sure what he was doing there. did they even explain that?

  • @whitederek2000 astonishing

  • @whitederek2000 well i was thinking why do most wwe superstars go to tna that i don't know

  • @whitederek2000 Are you going to do a video for Shawn Michaels now since he has retired? I have heard some people say it is a work, others including Michaels say it is not. If it isn't a work, I'm sad to see him go but I didn't think after Wrestlemania XIV he'd return and give me eight years of great matches.

  • Well, I'd love to do a shawn video, but starting tommorow I will be without a internet conncetion for about 2 months. If I decide to do one, I could start with material off my hard drive but in the end I need the net for pics and vids. Mostly importantly I would like that video of Shawn's "last" walk through the dressing room Wrestlemania night. Stay tuned

  • Some people think it is a work Shawn's retirement. Being a fan of his, I hope it is a work, but if its not he deserves a great send off and he got one.

  • @whitederek2000 Do it man. I'd like to see an epic Shawn Michaels tribute like this.

  • @Sweetguy9009

A big difference between someone like Ric Flair or Terry Funk retiring and Shawn is that Shawn has had his share of devastating injuries. Flair stayed healthy for 30 years.

  • @DrewBludd True, plus if you're going to go out, go out on top and on your own terms. Last time Shawn retired, it wasn't under his terms at least this time he had more say on the way he wanted to bow out.

  • FUCK HOGAN Ya i said it Flai the Man

  • Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • good job homie

  • Give it up for the REAL Nature Boy, Buddy Rogers!

  • @WFerraro

    LOL aren't you Shane Douglas?

  • ROFL, touche Hemsley. But...it's true. Another acceptable answer woulda been: "Aren't you Scott Steiner?"

  • why its written in the title Im sorry I love you?

  • it's what HBK said before he hit him with sweet chin music.

  • oh thats sad...he knew he is beated up....but he had to continue in the match... :(

  • 27 YEARS OLD LUMP IN MY THROAT

  • I dont think i've ever seen someone who loves his career more than that man. I dont beleive for a second that he decided to retire. I think if flair had his way, he'd wrestle until his dying day. Those we're real tears, and a life well spent. Good Man. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • how is it a tribute if u show him getting beat up 1:58 - 2:06 . 4 stars

  • Like 85% of his career is him getting beaten up. It's very appropriate.

  • Amazing video m8 great job.....you really captured the emotion, and that what I love about wrestling...

  • I dont cry. but i just did.

  • man you need to put out more wrestling videos theyre great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He uses Sony Vegas. I just want to know what he uses to do the panning around of pictures...

  • i also use vegas to pan the pictures. right click the picture, and go to pan and crop and use the motion editor

  • This must have been the 100th time ive seen this video, its moving. And deffinatly the best ric flair tribute out there. Thanks to whitederek2000. WOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Checc out luccey locc 1 da next big thing comeing from da west

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • 5:03 what an emotional moment. when he got up and saw shawn in the corner, he knew it was time. ric flair forever, woooooo!

  • The Real World's Champ!!!

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • wow wicked, lol what program do u use ? and how long did it take to make it dude

  • Great tribute!

  • it doesnt get any better then this

  • Wow, 5 stars. Great video. Almost brought me to tears. Woooooooooooooooo!

  • surely the wwe should have signed up sting 4 1 match and paid tna like 2 million they would have earned ten times that from wrestlemania sting should have ended flair career they had the greatest rivalry ever

  • wow that wouldve been great!! but we both know that would never happen

  • 5 stars. This is best tribute video I have ever seen!

  • classic that all i can say about this

  • This is a realy good video

  • wow this nearly brought me to tears

  • this is really legendary

  • Top 3 greatest of all time? Crippler Stevens over Lou Thez? Are you kidding? Thez wrestled from the 1930s to the 1990s. His last match was at age 74. I would deffinatly put him above The Crippler.

  • You're definately right... I'm thinking he just means based strictly on in-ring performance...

  • Well Thesz came up with a lot of moves, he was a legit wrestler and trained his army squad.

  • awesome tribute 5 star all the way

  • In response to WhyMagic's retarded, one sided answer, Ric Flair has been a pioneer and namesake for over THIRTY years. He was a big name player in the WWF before WCW. It has nothing to do with HHH or HBK or what stroke you think they have with that company. He EARNED his credit because of his career, not because of where he was during it. He transcended wrestling to another level years ago, and it wouldn't have progressed as it has if it wasn't for him.

  • Brother, I paused this video after 4 minutes to tell how great this tribute is. You should pat yourself on the back for making a great visual and audio gem. Now i'm gunna watch the rest

  • the best part of this video is at 0:29 when Savage tosses Flair on his head. Savage is almost as good as Flair, where is his tribute??

  • amazing video.

It left me speechless, and in tears.

God Bless you Ric. Thank you.

  • great vid

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry I said that wrong, You have NO respect

  • fuck its godsamck infact..rememberd coz of wrestlemania xx :P

  • Whats the 1st song maaannnnn !!???

  • Touche by Godmack

  • RESPECT YOU RIC

  • This was a wonderful video..Ric Flair was really special to watch.

  • u are completely right. Awesome vid

  • great video.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Havent seen this since last year....still incredible!

  • How boring has the undertaker's gimmick become over the years? It got tediously LAME 4 years ago. How anyone can find his 5 minute entrances entertaining, I'll never understand. If you want to talk about overall entertainers, talk about The Rock.

  • I think Orton or Angle will be the best entertainers tbh... THey both are extremely good at promos, and edgy, and great performers, Ric Flair is still extremely good for a60 year old man.

  • Ric Flair's its good wrestles in past

  • seconds song is leave the memories alone

    which is the first one
