The Citgo label in my town are gone! There is even a sticker that says this store NO LONGER TAKES the Citgo Credit card! the reason that gas in venezuela is so cheap is because it's state run. they provide fuel for their citizens at a low cost and THEN sell the surplus to the highest bidder.

The Citgo label in my town are gone! There is even a sticker that says this store NO LONGER TAKES the Citgo Credit card! You cannot find a 7-11 with Citgo on it in Richmond, VA. and surrounding counties! There are now independent stores with Citgo signs! I avoid these stations! I would rather run out of gas and walk 500 miles before I stop at a Citgo for gas! LMAO!

Thanks for the intellectual discussion. I do know Hugo Chavez was elected with a clear majority of the votes. And that the U.S. tried to set up a coup to remove him from power. It is obvious the U.S. hates him because he nationalized the Oil. So you disagree with Chavez's policies, thats no reason resort to childish comments.

You don't know,you think,cuz you're not in here.The entity that takes charge of all that has to do with elections is managed entirely from people of the government, of course they can fix an election, they control the systems, they don't do manual counting of the votes.
You can say whatever you want about the venezuelan-US relationship and about the oil, but don't even think you can agree with his policies when you don't know them or you haven't been here living under his power. It's offensive

Sure. There is a reason why America has war's in the middle east and not, say, Republic of Congo or Seirre Leone. The imperial agenda is obvious. To control the worlds resources, and maintain global hegemony.
Take Iraq for example. The USA supported Saddam Hussein and gave him WMDs, as long as he obeyed orders. When he didn't obey orders, Saddam became the enemy, terrible guy, etc..
There is countless examples of this throughout the world.

I agree. Chavez is friends with Castro. So what? The USA if friends with Saudi Arabia, China, and Kadaffi. One could argue that it is the US's fault that Castro is in power, for the US supported a corrupt dictator before he was in power.
Chavez never praised 9/11 for happening or support Al Qaeda, that is a baseless claim. In fact, Chavez gave free oil to thousands of americans in poverty. Sure, it could be a publicity stunt. But that is not a move a terrorist supporter would make.
