  • cazzo mi dispiace tanto , spero tanto si possa riprendere

  • OMg, I remember him playing in Italy almost twenty years ago, he looks so different now. Only the eyes are the same.

  • fuckin leg

  • Crocodile tears from a man that batters women.

  • @onlywhenpissed I'm sure he never hit her. She was in the media madhouse for money. Perhaps she deserved it.

  • Gazza is better than all the current England team put together.

  • God this interview maked me cry..... Very greatful that he's clean.

    Come on Gazza

  • Anybody that can be such a hardcore diehard drinker and play such marvelous soccer can only be an alien....just like George Best was, mates....that's why The gods are always scared to let him back to the heavens.....top geezer or top Gazza!!

  • @Sam51329 I think that when he was at his lowest point. When he drank 4 bottles of whiskey a day was after his football career. Believe me. No one can be so deep in alcoholism and still manage to play football at an elite level. You can die of delirium and abstinence if you stop drinking at that stage. You need to get detoxification at a hospital to get clean. Alcohol is a bloody poison..

  • all the best gazza , we all love you !! RFC

  • hes not lost it he has his sensitivity about him , nobody who has lost it can show too much emotion ,this is touching ,i used to get called gazza on the field , pasoin hot head , drinking went down the same route ,so i can relate to him and im a woman , love you gazza , just take a day at a time mate , xxxxx

  • This is 2009. Anyone know how he's doing now?

  • 30 cans of special brew a day!! glad he cut that down

  • It seems that Gazza relapse every time. I think he´s ben on rehab like 10-11 times. It´s not easy but I don´t coodle. I´m an alcoholic myself and knows how an addict thinks. At the end its only you self who desides to open that beer or throw it away. But if it gone so far that he cant be happy when he is sober he is realy deep in the shit. It doesn´matter if you have kids, a beautiful wife or a Ferrari in the garage if the bottle is number one for you. They will always be neglected...

  • Sad. Every genius seems to have a tormented soul.

  • gazza we love you. always will. still do man!

  • i will shed a tear when he passes. LEGEND

  • Good Luck Paul! You Made the game what it is today! Hope you get thru all this buddy. Kay your a cunt!

  • Kay Burley is a fucking awful sensationalist cold Alan-Partridge-esque "journalist". A paid snooper leeching from people less in control than herself.

  • I can't see gazza being around in 5 years, it's very sad

  • poor old gazza-he is fucked.best thing all round is if he dies before he inflicts more misery on those that love him.he has had enough last chances now and he's not a happy person so i think its for the best if he was put to sleep.

  • @noclass33 His family has abandoned him now. His own son Regan doesn't want to know Gazza.

  • he looks quite spritely for a 67 year old

  • OMG...30!!Cans of Special Brew ...A DAY.OMG.I am shocked. One has to ask why? That is not just obviously alcoholism, but willful self-destruction.

  • @0ua8 He was lucky not to have a stomach haemorrhage.

  • @0ua8 He's got Bipolar Disorder.

  • I give him 1 year to live. This is the face of death.

  • @eltonfan30 Fck off you twat,

  • Wife beater, drunk, moron, loser. And after the Moat carry on, madman.

Shortly after he first anounced he was off the drink, he was seen in Newcastle willingly knocking back the drinks his so called friends lined up for him. Some of his hangers on aggressively defended his right to drink when people genuinely voiced their concerns.

Never the bright lad, he now hasn't even much of a brain left either.

  • @timpovikings He's conquered alcoholism many times now.

  • @JuanMacready

I'm afraid you either defeat it once - or you never defeat it.

    The guy's a vegetable.

  • either Paul had a genetic predisposition to alcoholism - it can run in families, then it is heredic - or he fall prey to alcohol as part of personal weakness. In either case, it is very low to put him down.

I am 100% convinced that he sincerely tried to get out of his condition. Paul, I wish you all the best.

  • hes a down and out what a prick

  • @shammon1 your a ass

    we love Paul Gascoigne :)

  • Poor guy. Shades of best here

  • Kay Burley is the real evil of this world. You can read her thought process and she seems like a right judgemental ruthless cow.

  • stay well and take good care of yourself Gazza...I shed tears with you back in 1990 and I am crying with you now as well..You are the best and a shining light of my teenage dark age...Rock on Gazza and let the memory stays.

  • Who's the interviewer?

  • @lightcarrier Her name is Kay Burley and is a long servant to Sky news.

  • special brew, cheeky cow!

  • Looks like shit.,.......Total waster.

  • @shammon1 fuck u

  • brings a tear to my eye such a good hearted guy wasting away DAMN!!!!

  • @1q6z DAMN DAMN DAMN !

  • legend hope he gets better<3

  • guys, be nice. Paul gascoigne could have been the next Ronaldhino.............it's just a learning lesson that all of us could learn that alchohol ruins people. But Paul Gasocigne is probably one of the greatest England players of all time........and will live in history as "The Legend of England"

people would say the same of you.?

  • @shankar383

    You're the loser

  • Hey all. I worked in a nightclub in Newcastle. He's definitley still drinking, last saw him in early 2010. Addiction is a killer, either way, absolute LEGEND!

  • @uklapazz That's too bad. Looks like he's done for. It's good to see so many positive comments about him though. He was amazing.

  • @uklapazz ptay 4 us with this

    "DISEASE".

  • I am a Celtic fan, and a Scotland fan, his goals against Celtic and Scotland still make me wince. But you have to love the man, so sad and so brilliant. I hope he makes it, the world needs Paul Gascgoine's!!

  • @cormackjames expected ur comments

    from a good bhoy

    thanks.

  • pray to beat this "disease".

  • SAD VERY SAD.............".I KNOW"

  • The media destoyed him ! I think he is one of the best ever !

  • unfortunately he will never recover from addiction.

  • @joemanu12 VERY TRUE YOU HAVE TO

    HIT "ROCK BOTTOM"

    BEFORE YOU REALISE IT.!

  • I once him at hillsborough when the owls played spurs in around 1988.there is no word to describe that performance by this man that day. he totally destroyed wednesday

What a player the best i ve ever seen.long live gazza

  • it all could been so different...the most exciting English player since ...well, i dont know???

  • hes become a total fruit cake

  • complete fucking nutter..LEGEND.

  • Met him in the pub one time. He was drinking a pint of Wife Beater.

  • I still cant understand how someone can drink up to 30 cans of special brew a day, i get hungover to fuck after drinking 3 days on the trot drinking say 10 cans of lager and need to stop because i feel ill.

  • he will never stop drinking.............

  • Gascoigne surrounded himself with people who made sure he got his booze and when people tried to appeal to Paul directly, while he was on these day-long benders, these idiots 'protected' him from them.

Self-piteous, flash in the pan, loser.

  • The story aboute Gazza is a terrible story... and under the wings of mister Alex Ferguson who knows how things would turn out.

  • Not the footballing story

  • Such a great talent was wasted. Off course he was brilliant, just sad how it ended.

  • wasted? it was never his football that was wasted.

  • Well, dont misunderstand me, i just tried to say that his career could be on top for a longer time.

  • total legend and really proud of you kick the habbit and help the kids kick a ball so they can be a star like you. I aint a footie fan but I always watched you cos u transfixed me I lost my video of gascoigne glory which I am well gutted about cos there is great footage on there of you and bobbie robson!!
