i remember having a disk showing this trailer but in english. the song is different from this one... but the english one is like a club mix song and the lyrics are something like "i shot him, im a murder" but really badass. i seem to recall the song being on gran torismo( dont know which one). can you please help me, i have been searching for this song for like 10 years

I recall reading on 'the document of mgs2' that it caused the Konami website to crash due to the amount of viewers. In japan it was even rentable at video stores, which personally I find both sad and slightly cool.

Heh that exploding part at 7:23 always reminds me a very first original MGS trailer from 1997 when Snake blown up heliport from Shadow Moses, that must be C4 a plastic explosive... Also I like that Olga work art from 7:07, she looks great, a less russian than in final game

@TheKlimekpl Actually, at 7:23, that was intended to be part of the game, when Ocelot detonated the Semtex you had to escape. But they decided to cut it as though it sounds impressive it wasn't as fun to play. There was also extended scenes at the end of New York being destroyed, but they were also cut due to it being released around the time of 9/11

Ah the Good o'l Days... Before was MGS was completely ridden with bullshit. It all started with Raiden... but shockingly got interrupted by MGS3... and than started again with MGS4.... Which means the next game shouldn't be completely believably crazy! I'm sorry but when fighting cyborg animal women is fine. What really embarrasses me is the fact that they explode in a million cherry blossoms after they die.

Back then MGS2 was bigger than the 1st landing on the moon. I still get the chills when the MGS theme starts to play and they show the artwork of the characters...
