@Kacusahuwa youll get used to it, you see where it is on the screen so it basically works like a mouse does, but because a pen is much more easier to move and feels more natural to draw with than a mouse itll go a lot better with drawing, it is a bit hard at first though :)

@Xxjaguar123xX Paint is terrible, try Manga Studio or photoshop. Some free alternatives would be Gimp or Inkspace. Those two are pretty good. Also I'm not sure but you might be able to use the tablet on picnik dot com

It's weird at first yeah, but you quickly get used it it. You stare at the screen instead of the

paper, it somestimes still gets to me and I've been using a tablet for 3-4 years now,

Something that always makes my drawings go wrong is proportions. I can do them

extremely well on paper because I can see the entire drawing at once. But in Photoshop, you can only

see so much at one time, so its hard to judge to see if its in proportion to other body parts. :l

Hmm.. Well I draw in like 3000x3000, 2000x2000 at minimum to get a crisp image, and

better quality when I paint it. A trick I picked up lately was to draw zoomed in at 200% and draw

within the confines of the center screen. Draw only proportions using basic shapes, and once its

proportioned properly, zoom out and transform it to make it really big in size. It will be really blurry,

so make a new layer, and then use a nice thin dark brush to trace! :D

These things are crap! Pen is WAY too light and skitters across the Tablet. Very difficult to control. First test I did after buying my Bamboo Pen & Touch was to sign my name. Looked like a 3 year old did it!! The resolution is horrific. I contacted "Wac Job" support and the goofball that answered my email said I should have spent $300 more and got a more professional model. My opinion of this company and their products... They can keep their crappy tablets and they can Kiss My ASS!!!!!

I have a genius tablet, and it's terrible! I have to scan everything and then vetorize the scans very slowly to be able to do something half good. Now, I don't know if the problem is me that can't use a tablet properly, or is the Genius tablet (Probably the tablet). Is the bamboo fun good enough for flash animation? Is it easy to draw directly on the pc? Can you draw with it as good as on paper? Does anyone have experience with this + flash? Thanks.

@rogervduarte i use a bamboo fun medium in flash... works perfectly and is great. Its not like on paper because flash is vectorised and stuff so you know. but if you get your brush smoothing settings just right for you, it is amazing. in more realistic drawing programs such as photoshop or artrage (autodesk sketchbook is another one, with the most amazing pencil tool) it feels as close to paper as you can get without buying a cintiq

i've had it for a week now and it's frustrating at first to get used to it, it's weird since the way i draw is with the pad tilted at an angle so learning to do it with the tablet straight at 90 degrees is a tad odd haha. it's really great though, especially the illustrator program it comes with is awesome.
